Mortal Kombat 1 - Who Is Missing From The Original Trilogy? Noob Saibot, Nightwolf, Sektor And More!

Hello everyone!
And welcome back to another Instalment In my Mortal kombat 'Missing' series, where we take a roster, break it down and analyse and see what is going on with those characters in the present, and how they have changed for the new era!
Currently we’ve blasted through the reboot trilogy, the 3D trilogy as well as MK4, but today we do take on quite a herculean task In the form of the original trilogy!
For this video, I will be excluding the base roster of MK1 to focusing on the lost characters of the new era!
Thus going forth, I will be touching on character mentioned and or featured In arcade ladders ending, ones featured In the Kameo roster (excluding the duplicates), and finally of course.
l will be touching on the missing character from the original trilogy Itself, to truely understand and possibly figure why they are absent, or could be up to at this point In time.

I'm pretty sure Motaro is still sided with Shao and Reiko, not Kitana. Shao's soldiers have spikes on their shoulder pauldrons, but Kitana's soldiers do not, and Motaro is fighting a soldier without the shoulder spikes in Kitana's arcade ending.

He does seem to have some sort of shoulder guard, but it's never seen in the cutscenes. Maybe at some point after the story he got it as a show of promotion.

I was really upset that Nightwolf didn't appear, out of all the trilogy characters he mad the most sense to show up and had potential to fit into the story. Along with Jade as well, seeing how much Edenian love is on the main roster it felt like a dishonor not to have her here. All the special Forces had there time to shine the last 3 games so I wasn't mad they took a break, that goes for the Black Dragon as well.

In Raiden's chapter, Sindel said that he already beat Sheeva, Kotal and Motaro off screen, so I think that this "Ceremonial Kombat" makes the champion fight the best members of each race in outworld, one osh-tekk, one shokan, one centaur, one draconic humanoid (Shao) and one edenian (Mileena/Kitana) So with this they leave Goro as a normal soldier and no so much of a prince anymore

Important plot to remember, the robot arms of Jax was add ons. Like armor. Only in the new timeline were they taken

I mean they really did Tanya dirty and turns out a consultant group was to blame. By the time I got to the Armageddon part, the girl cage really made me roll my eyes. Over 30 years of lore destroyed by fools

@@tonyinfinite5174 I find that unlikely with the way Liu Kang's hint to Johnny. It seems like she'll likely make an appearance in the next game along with Jax (and possibly Stryker) in another capacity. I think they put a bit of emphasis on Earth since there are a good number of characters and plot elements that need to develop for the characters we have right now to grow. There are plenty of human characters who need events on Earth realm to occur or we won't get them at all like the Black Dragon members, the military character, Night Wolf, and Hanzo Hisashi. If we don't get a time skip of some kind, the roster for the next game would be pretty anemic.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we see Kuai Liang die. With him being Hanzo's new family he could lead to Hanzo taking on the scorpion mantle... And Kuai Liang becoming the new Noob

In this new timeline. I hoped the identity for this timeline Noob Sailbot is the father of Scorpion and Sub-Zero. I feel with him being left to die. Quan Chi brings him back having him turn his hatred towards Bi Han who at some point in the later story has been redeemed after losing the Lin Kuei and giving the chance he was able to rebuilt the Lin Kuei would lead to some good storytelling. Where we see Bi Han realize his greatest fear coming true where his father is no longer a ghost that's in his head like what he stated in his chapter in Mortal Kombat 1 chapter. He has become the embodiment of evil that he must take down. Which is much worse. I hope in this timeline this Sektor turns on Bi Han and stealing the Cyber Lin Kuei from him. Where he becomes the leader only to lose and be defeated only to escape and rebuilt a new clan called Tekunin who he created during Mortal Kombat Armageddon. I do hope Cyrax in this timeline avoid being turned to a cyborg but instead joined the Shirai Ryu. But let Frost be his replacement as a cyborg would be the best option. I think the writers should've kept Hanzo and Harumi out and let Scorpion Kuai Liang be his own thing. I just feel all three got done dirty. But anyway great video History Behind the Warrior.

The only Nightwolf reference we get in Mortal Kombat 1 is during test your might. He throws his tomahawk and 3 arrows into a character and says "return to the spirits". I hope there will be some lore to him in this game in the future.

Nightwolf is an obvious KP2 Kameo. Charge, arrow, Tomahawk uppercut. I assumed they'd go with a female Nightwolf, but now I'm not sure bc A. The apparently female Cyrax, and B. With Janet already being a thing, I hope they'll keep the spirit of Kameos around and give us classic versions, which would mean MK3 Male NW

Who cares? This was ruined with Lil bro sub zero having hell fire. Scorpion is missing and modern audience consultants are all over this game. I've been playing mk since 92 and played this garbage for 1 week and have been done since. The lore was destroyed.
