u know that maybe their just not showing us everything right? like maybe Kitana is now an Elder God, hell maybe like Kronika they too might have Elder God kids, who knows, in Kitanas ending in the Arcade mode there are 2 boys/girls fighting infront of her throne using wooden swords and from what i remeber she was smiling so maybe those are her kids and while we dont see Liu Kang in the picture i would imagine those are their kids, whatever the case we shall see, all i know is that their romance is too iconic for them to not put it in the next game. sorry for my english its not my first languege.

Shang Tsung's ending proofs that he is actually very powerful socceror with his good, cunning strategy. But seriously, I expect the fight will be much better while maintain the original climax. I expect more intense battle between the good Gods and the evil soccerors. This $40 DLC is bit lame, but at least it gets to full circle, where the first MK boss being the final boss, and the true first MK hero become the last hero standing. Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa once again portrays Shang Tsung very well !

Just wait for another year, or wait this expansion sold in bundle with future DLC to get lower price. Talking about DLC, NetherRealm should listen to their fans on what characters they want. I'm ok there's no Mileena, she has shone many times. But undeveloped characters that MIA, Reptile, Takeda, Rain, Havik, Cyrax, Sektor instead of RoboCop. I like RoboCop, but NRS should get what majority wants. $40 is absolutely unworthy unless you want take the bullet

I noticed that despite Kronika saying that she's restarted the timeline many times already, she did not have the crown on her at the beginning of MK11. Liu Kang neither had the crown on in his aftermath ending, however Shang Tsung did have it on in his ending. From this, I can only conclude that the crown disappears with each reset and since Shang Tsung is the creator of it, he has to make one in every timeline should they ever decide to want to reset it.
