That's by no means a Japanese accent. At no point did Scorpion say anything resembling the actual Japanese way of pronouncing anything. Harumi and Satoshi are even both pronounced wrongly, with the wrong tone and stresses. Same goes for practically every Japanese term he says. Ron Yuan's the wrong actor to choose if you want convincingly asian portrayals - he's made an entire career out of playing Japanese/Chinese natives while not speaking a single lick of either language. This is the dude who brought you the 'She-rye Rai-you'. Honestly if you do speak Japanese, then it's just better to try very hard to not think of Scropion as Japanese, in the same way as you try not to think of Kung Lao, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang etc as Chinese. Because if you do, then it's about the same effect as watching some Russian actor with a thick accent claiming to be an authentic englishman, as a native englishman.

Hanzo fights Cyrax - Cyrax tells Hanzo that he will be forced to serve, with Hanzo replying that he has been down that road, and will not let it happen again. Hanzo fights Noob Saibot - Noob taunts Hanzo, claiming that without Quan Chi's influence Hanzo is weaker. Hanzo fights Sektor - Sektor was revealed to be the one who started the massacre on the first Shirai Ryu by setting it on fire, vowing that he will finish what Quan Chi failed to accomplish in their deal.

Correction: He was forced to be an assassin by the Lin Kuei yet still showed compassion as seen with Sareena, was framed for slaughtering the Shirai Ryu leading to being killed by Hanzo, & was twisted by Quan Chi. I always go with Sub Zero v Frost -> Scorpion v Cyrax -> Sub Zero v Noob (Bi-Han) -> Scorpion v Sektor I do it in that order not just to even out the fights between them during their chapter but also because I believe that each of those fights is important to the relevant character that I chose for each of those fight; Sub Zero proving to Frost firsthand why she’s still a student whereas he’s a Grandmaster and is not qualified to lead anyone, Scorpion trying to free someone who he was once at odds with from a life of forced servitude like he once was with Quan Chi, Sub Zero proving to his brother that he’s not only his own man and not in his shadow but also that he has surpassed him as Sub Zero as well as giving him that “we share blood, we are not brothers” line, and finally Scorpion getting the chance to not only duke it out with the one man responsible for starting him on his manipulated path of misdirected vengeance but also getting the chance to honor his dead wife and son’s memory properly by taking down the man who ordered their deaths.
