@@stevennieves6590 Mortal Kombat is one of the few series that actually seems to have appreciated it's movie adaptation and use elements of it for it's own continuity. I mean Kano was originally totally a different kind of character but the team really liked the movie's take on him thus why that's now what Kano is. I do have to wonder how much the movie does have to do with the timeline of the series though as though they borrow some elements I don't think it's a part of any canon. Which makes the whole "I choose the right to pick my opponent" kind of weird if you don't know the movie's context. The dress line is also from the movie but that could just also be seen as creeper talk.
