Mortal Kombat 3 - Shao Kahn's Unused/Different Lines

The rolling "R’s" is just too iconic, it really makes Shao Kahn a stand out and almost having an otherworldly accent, too bad the new VA couldn’t get this and don’t even attempt nor even do a rolling R for Shao Kahn’s voice

That "oh maw" sound at 0:22 reminds me when you uppercut someone into that pool of acid in Mortal Kombat 2 after submerge and floating from it as a skeleton, I think there is supposed to be an acid themed stage in MK3 but it was cancelled unfortunately.

"Oh maw", like "toasty!", was another goofy phrase Dan Forden would use all the time when playing games with other Midway staff.

The voiceline that have Shao Kahn saying Kintaro does means Kintaro was planned to be playable very early on, like how Shang Tsung became playable after MK1. They scrapped it in favor of Sheeva after feeling thay letting Kintaro playable over Goro doesn’t feel right, while keeping the fate ambiguous for Goro until MK4 console ports, where he is confirmed to be still alive and kicking. Both Goro and Kintaro were made playable in MK Trilogy outside of N64 (where only Shao Kahn and Motaro were playable bosses in that version) do make up for it.

The fact Kintaro could've been in Mortal Kombat 3 is terrifying. I imagine he would've been one of the most brutal bosses in the game. And I'm sure his fatalities would be gruesome! *_And that's why I feel Kintaro deserves better in the newer games!_*

@@KeshaFilm You mean new and non playable bosses, but Shang Tsung was a boss in MK1 and in MK2 he got his own fatalities, if Kintaro would be playable in arcades at least as not hidden character, they would rather had to make some fatalities for him.

It's not like this is a rule, but there is nothing that would stop them adding a fatality to playable character, they could add them to non playable character, but what would be a point of that since fatality is a treat for a player, you would be really disappointed you can't play as Shao Kahn.

MK3 was released a long time ago and it's a PC version, not Arcade one. You might heard them in some MUGEN remakes.
