I think that maybe Taven's ending could be canon. Where he defeated Blaze and obtained his power, only to completely backfire when the spurts of energy empowered every1 that were around or by the pyramid (instead of killing them instantly or completely drained their powers) and maybe Shao Kahn was able to somehow kill Onaga (possibly by poisoning him, like he did before) and made it back before Taven defeated Blaze, hence why Onaga wasn't in MK9's story prologue and why Shao Kahn and Raiden were the last two remaining. That's my speculation on why Taven was no where to be found in MK9's prologue (maybe due to him being killed off by someone like Shao Kahn or Daegon something like that).

So Takeda's ending in MKX has him and Kenshi going after the Red Dragons and when they finally get to the underground headquarters, they free a living Dragon (probably Dagon's Dragon guide) who teleports them to another cave where they bust open a boulder and Taven pops out. I honestly view it as canon because there's no real confliction with the storyline and it makes sense that Taven and Dagon do still exist in the new timeline as Cetrion outright references them in one of her openings, saying "Taven and Dagon had their chance" which to me kinda implies that the brothers still want to restart Armageddon in the new timeline but it obviously doesn't come to fruition before MK11, maybe Kenshi, Taven, and Takeda actually killed or think they killed Dagon and so Armageddon never came to pass

Make me question about Titans lifespan now. For Gods, they are immortal. Even if they die, they will reborn again (like Raiden back in Deception). Gods can only be dead permanently by erased them from existence. But how about Titans? They are the parents of the Gods, supposedly they should be like this too right...but Liu Kang completely destroyed Kronika. Not erased, just straight up shattered the Titan to pieces. Different with Shang Tsung in Aftermath where Liu Kang's attack actually erased him at the end. Kronika is not erased, just destroyed by Liu Kang. You guys think that Kronika can reborn again?

Unfortunately, she did! Her story is pretty sad actually, from slave to deceived to sexual concubine... It has all! She was promised to get the people from her village, "Sun Do", freed from slavery if she could win the "Deadly Alliance" tournament, which she did actually, but she got cowardly killed instead and had her soul transferred into an Onaga soldier. After the blast, she returned to the 'Soulnado' and got resurrected by the "Dragon King". She dies again later on in the battle of the "Armageddon". So, Li Mei cannonically died twice.

The comics not being cannon means the history of Takeda is flushed out, Master Hasashi's ability to keep using Hell Fire is also not explained properly, the defeat & destruction of the Cyber Lin Kuei is also gone.. And a lot more plot points which are cannon in MKX. Tbh from my perspective I found the comics's storyline is much more interesting than MKX. Good starting point, got a closure to the main plot (but not every event happened there is closed properly), good action & twist.

Something that confused me about mk11 is that kotal kahn mentioned that barraka, kitana and skarlet died is past events and though it is known that baraka was killed in mk x and kitana died in mk 9 (I think) i can not find anything explaining how skarlet died in the new time line.

Motaro was not seen fighting in the MK Armageddon movie so technically he never died either. Kia and Jaaka in MK Mythologies also never died. Same for Sareena. Bi-Han let all of them lived. Moloch also never died. The Shadow Priests in MKII & MK3 also never died, those flying witch doctors are literally immortal. Also Hornbuckle never died, he defeated Blaze in MKII and force him to watch over that one egg.

What about Kuai Liang? Bi Han died and became Noob but Kuai Liang didn't die? Shinnok is an Elder God (even though he is a "fallen" elder god). So, Shinnok cannot die by conventional means (like mortals). He can be decapitated or sealed. Maybe even defeated. Idk about killed though. Even Sindel (who was killed) was resurrected.
