This gives off the vibe that Goro's Lair just isn't as scary without Goro or even the glowing eyes that were in Goro's Lair in Mortal Kombat 1. Well, if you play Mortal Kombat II for Super Nintendo... The glowing eyes are still present, but they're gone in the other versions.

This is probably the scariest song in the game. If you're trash at MK, you'll never get to fight the (at the time) hidden characters and not hear this song, however you will hear this when you get a gameover.

They couldn't keep it due to SNES memory limitations. They had to conserve. Since it's a stage you only see occasionally, they felt it would be a waste of memory.

It's in the Sega Genesis & Sega 32X versions of the game, but used as the continue & ending music. Goro's Lair in the home console versions uses different music tracks. In the Sega 32X version, Goro's Lair has the same music as the Kombat Tomb & the same goes for the Sega Genesis version which has The Blue Portal instead of Goro's Lair. The Super Nintendo version uses The Dead Pool music.
