Mortal Kombat: Scorpion's Dagger - Japanese Kunai

I grew up playing Mortal Kombat and have fond memories of the original movies from the 90's. This build was inspired from the latest Mortal Kombat film that came out in 2021. The Japanese Kunai was originally used as a multi-purpose gardening tool and by workers of stone and masonry. The blade is made of soft iron, and is left unsharpened because the edges are used to smash relatively soft materials such as plaster and wood, for digging holes and for prying. Many ninja weapons were adapted from farming tools. Hanzo Hasashi aka Scorpion does work with one of these in the film.

@@TheMikeRybak That video would've killed five years ago. It's tougher now. Just keep making good stuff, and it'll slowly build. Just try to stay yourself. Make content for you. Don't become fake. Don't copy what all the others do. Sometimes I think of a video as a record of an old project. It's nice to look back and see how I did something. Film it like you're explaining it to yourself in case you ever want to do it again.

Really good advice. I'm not trying to compete with the rest of KZbin because I can't keep up content wise. I'm trying to make it a showcase for my ideas with the small hope that maybe it leads to something. Thanks for the kind words. Do you find that it's necessary or helps with views to put voice over or explanations in main videos? I saw you have a secondary channel with the deep dive stuff. Cool concept.

@@TheMikeRybak In a word, yes. People like a story. If they buy your reason for doing something, they'll keep watching. Voice over is one easy way to provide a sensible narrative. Too much explanation becomes insulting and/or boring, though. It's a tough balance. I'm probably not the right guy to ask. My advice, for what it's worth, is that it's best not to focus on getting views. Most channels understand _how_ to become big now~it's just usually not worth doing. It requires constant uploading, and too much begging. Do/make what you like. Better to have a small, appreciative audience than a big, demanding one.

Thanks Tom! I watched the new Mortal Kombat trailer, paused it and roughly took some measurements based of the environment it was in on screen and my own hand lol. It was a fun build! I learned a lot!. I'm hoping to have some new videos out soon. Is there any kind of build you might want to see?
