I think these vinyl challenges are very clever and really make you go through your records and do research on your favorite artists. These challenges are so helpful to grow everyone’s channel at the same time, keep the video content fresh and evolving and to find new channels that one did not know about before. Keep entering these ❤

Cool. I don't think I have evert heard about Sophie Auster before. I have read almost all of Paul Auster's books.

Ha! Steve I was a millisecond away of mentioning that this was the only record I had stored properly according to alltheworldsastage!

Hiya Shawn! Thank you for doing this, love your find, never heard of this artist, which makes it all the more exiting! Great 1971 pick as well. Thank you and best of luck! Cheers from Morten (currently on a ferry from Sweden to Denmark) 😎

Thank you Morten, it’s a great tag and thread and I enjoyed it! I am convinced that over 50% of black metal / doom metal etc.. bands come from Norway. I did a rather deep dive into Norwegian bands and artists.

@@vinylshawn4757 Ha ha, yeah, there are a few but there are still a few great American musicians with Norwegisn ancestry people have not yet found that baffles me 😊

Great entry, Shawn! You gave me a couple of new VC channels to subscribe to. I love that ELP record! Lucky Man is great, but I love Knife-Edge! I need to do more videos outdoors. It looks peaceful!

Appreciate it Mark! Yes looking forward to the outdoor video although I like your set up on your videos. Ok I am intrigued, going to listen to knife edge tonight or tomorrow and will report back.

Hi Shawn! Embryonic Brian calls my print outs a “Lo-Fi slideshow!” 😂 Sophie Auster is definitely a new name for me.
@vinylshawn47575 ай бұрын
Yes Brian has a valid point, the lo- fi slideshow is a pretty accurate description! Yours scores extra points for the vibrant colors.

I have not heard of Sophie Auster but she does sound interesting. I'm subscribed to Rob and Steve and will look up Klassicjams.

Thank you Randy! Yes unfortunately for her you can buy her record for 10 dollars sealed with shipping included on discogs. I think I pad around the same on a blind buy. I’m thinking her music career did not take off like she wanted.
