Hi Shawn. Splendid video. Wish I had been a bit more forward looking when the Crowded House albums got their last re-issue back in 2016. I got the deluxe CD's instead. Didn't think it would be a problem, but especially Together Alone goes for stupid money now 🙄

Thank you Morten! I think that temple of low men is definitely a record you can get on vinyl for a great price. Woodface is much higher. I haven’t checked the rest but have no doubt that together alone is probably a couple notches above woodface. Deluxe version on cd is the route I may go on that album.

Hi Shawn, im a huge Crowded House fan, well Neil and Tim Finn in general. "temple of low men" and "woodface", as you mentioned, should be high on your list for sure. also try Neil Finn's debut solo album "try whistling this" plus The Finn Brothers' "finn" and "everyone is here" albums. do you own any Split Enz albums by chance??. BTW, nothing wrong with "something so strong" IMO. Paul Hester is on the right hand side mate. Nick Seymour in the middle. great video mate - Lloyd

I’m not a huge Crowded House guy, but that is a good choice. It’s the only one I have from back in the day. Funny you mentioned The Stand. Excellent series, and as soon as you mentioned it I reconciled the song with it. I saw that Sonic Temple tour on that tour on one of the coldest winter nights in the history of cold nights in Ottawa. I’m exaggerating but it was f’n cold getting home. I have a 12” single for Edie, Ciao Baby. Outstanding. Their look changed as well as their sound in the Ric Rubin years. Great Cure summary. I have several but mostly on compact disc. Have a happy Thanksgiving my friend! ✌️

Very cool that you got a Royal Roost record. I love Johnny Hartman. ha ha - I never really thought about CSNY and Madness in the same breath before but you're right - they did both sing songs called Our House. You might want to try the first CSN album - that's a good one with Marrakesh Express and Suite: Judy Blue Eyes. I think any singer with a distinctive voice like Michael McDonald is likely to have people who feel strongly both ways - positive and negative. Michael probably celebrates the fact that he has so many strong followers. Thanks for showing the records!

Very nice collection of Cranberries there. Like Brian I have their records on CD (the 4 first). At some stage I forgot to look up what they kept doing. They were on hiatus for quite a while as well. Love Deja Vu. «The only one who didn’t have to be dressed up for the cover was Neil, he dressed like that anyhow…» 😄 "Sailboat" album is really nice as well. Creedence I also "only" have on CD, took me a while to buy their final, as it was somewhat… Not talked nicely about. Had that Christopher Cross album in my hands many a time, but never got myself to buy it. Yet I have a few tracks from it on various soundtracks! Thanks for showing us those.
