Wow Mortis you had your own thriller Story. So glad you and Family are safe. I don't think with the way the World is that it's safe for traveling. My Friend wants us to go out of our state, Kansas, to travel, I just want to stay where I feel safe. I'm not surprised that you needed time to unwind after said trip which is sad that you had to and others to go through that.

Hey Mortis, I hope you are doing well I wanted to give everyone an update on how things are going with me. I have a severe strained groin muscle and that will take a month to heal so I’m dealing with that. But other than that I’m doing well my wife is doing well and our 4 children are doing well. So all is well. Mortis I think you have an awesome narration style and you are an awesome narrator.

At the risk of sounding like a Debbie Downer, I have a few questions and observations about story 1. First, who builds a farmhouse in the middle of the woods? Next, I was a horse groom at a stable that also kept several pigmy goats in an enclosure alongside the barn. Early one morning I went out to the enclosure to feed the goats. Horrifyingly, as I was throwing hay into the pen, I realized that not only was every single little goat deceased, but it seemed they were murdered during some sort of sacrificial Satanic ritual! Along with being expertly dissected and dismembered, several goats’ heads were actually missing! I was terrified. So, naturally, I called the sheriff. When said sheriff finally found the time to mosey on down to the stable to examine the Satanic midnight goat massacre, it was very evident Sheriff was completely underwhelmed. After gazing upon the goat enclosure for no more than three seconds, he turned and silently skedaddled on back towards his cruiser. Just as he was about to slide in, he turned to me and said with shameless misogynistic condescension, “Don’t you worry yer pretty blonde head, Little Lady. Weren’t no Satanic folk killin’ yer tiny goats…it were a cuopleya hungry coyotes and nuthin else [coyotes was pronounced “ky-yoats” of course].” Sheriff was not wrong. In fact, afterwards I learned that many wild animals can kill their prey in a manner that, to the untrained eye anyway, appears as though only a human or a humanoid type creature could possibly dissect another creature with such precision and technique. Knowing this has completely diminished my already almost nonexistent belief in humanoids and cryptids of any kind. Thus, I vote animal attack as the COD for the very unfortunate family in the first story.

I'm not impressed with deer hunters in story 1. I live in the south and hunting is basically life down here, whether you live in a big city or out in the sticks, it's basically a culture thing, especially for multi generational southerners. A large portion of my family also lives way up north and hunts. When it comes to hunting there's a code. For one thing, a spike is barely more than Bambi. It's a juvenile, barely a couple years old with little nubs for antlers. The majority of hunters I know absolutely would not kill such a small deer. Never. If they do they sure tf don't tell anyone, they would be ridiculed big time. You won't find many that would even take down a 7 pointer. Also OP said his friend took the spike for meat...ummm, there's not much meat there and why else would you take a deer? I hope they're not killing deer just for the mounts. And this whole walking in the woods 15 minutes to the stand, 400 friggin acres and you're walking in for only 15 minutes? Might as well hunt from your back porch. If they keep killing all the young deer, especially since there's a club hunting as well, there won't be any left.

Ok, some minor details in the first story are bothering me. About 9 minutes in, Victor is given the car keys by the OP, then at about 32 minutes, the OP is fumbling for the car keys , gets them, and the 2 friends throw themselves in the backseat. Shouldn't Victor have still had the keys in his pack?! I 🤔

A word to the wise, please never travel to the middle east or central America and think it's just a place to go. I've been to 32 countries, been shot at, been surrounded by gunfire, had weapons pointed at me since the age of 16. I hate hearing how people willingly go to bad places, then talk about bad experiences. Please stop vacationing in 3rd world countries. Glad you're safe - Former safety officer, first responder

Most of these stories are made up, if not all of them. However I still view weird additions like the one where the 36 year old still sleeps with a night light, to be a surreal and inhuman, almost mind poisoning, addition. This is very common in these stories, extremely repetitive. But people don't do that. That's not a thing. So a person didn't write that story. Something imitating a person did. Now that's creepy.

Get KZbin premium. Content creators on KZbin continue to have less and less control over advertisements on their videos. From what I can gather many of them are quite irritated by the same thing as you. I have premium. I don't know how anyone could listen to these stories for sleep or relaxation with ads without premium. It's unimaginable to me.
