My daughter's first day of school, I went and got 3 different paints, fake plants and fairy stickers...she came home to a magical tree in her room. I did the entire tree with my thumb so it would resemble bark, hot glued the leaves,and hid the fairies behind the leaves. When I lost the house, that was what we all were the saddest about. Two things: First-As someone raised pagan I feel like one of these days I’m going to end up in someone else’s scary story or let’s not meet post. Like I’m sorry but sometimes you just leave something at a crossroads during a dark moon for life to work out. Second-The military is fucking awful with mental health, I wish I could say I can’t believe his superior would lie to him about going AWOL but I’m not surprised. It’s such a toxic mindset, my fiancé was in the infantry and the culture I saw first hand around mental health was disgusting considering how high rates of domestic violence and suicide are. It was self perpetuating as well because disclosing any issues could either 1. get around and other people would find out a heavily telephoned version or 2. you would be moved and/or not allowed to do certain activities which othered you and removed you from your main support network of friends. It’s just shameful and sad.

@0:39 that’s Mordeo from Crypt tv it’s a KZbin channel that makes short horror films they’re pretty awesome and last but least and I say this all the time but people “ALWAYS” get Skinwalkers and Wendingos mixed up I’m from Oklahoma and I know a lot about those types of legends I’m African American but my best friend growing up was Native American majority of kids I went to school with were native well where I’m from they honestly prefer the term Indian instead of Native American but anyway that resembles a “WENDIGO” @0:39 and not a Skinwalker I just hate how people don’t know the difference between these Indian myths and legends there are multiple types of creatures but people only try to make stories about the things that are popular but they never bring up the Changelings, Stagginies or however it’s spelled there are a lot more that people don’t know about so they confuse what’s what smh I could honestly go on a whole rant about the difference in some of these creatures because I’ve heard so much but I wish people would enlighten themselves on these legends before just naming these things the wrong name
