1956 Chevrolet Texas Tow Truck!! Abandoned for Years! Will It Run Again?!? With Puddin's Fab Shop!

On a recent trip to Oklahoma, Puddin's Fab Shop and I made a day trip over to Norman to visit The Old Truck Guy and take a look at his collection. He stated he'd like to use this 1956 Chevrolet tow truck around the yard so we decided to give it a shot to see if we could get it running for the first time in many years. Hey Mortske. I'm at about 49:00. Connect your jump pack or jumper cable Negative directly to a good ground on the block or starter. If there's room, connect the jump pack or jumper cable Positive directly to the positive on the starter. That way you bypass any bad battery cables and bad connections on the truck.

I worked with a guy (kinda for him) up in Staten Island (yes it was terrible) and he would just CUT EVERYTHING. It drove me NUTS, absolutely INSANE. I'd go put something back on a motor and ask wait.. wtf, why are all these wires CUT right in the middle??? All the ends are cut off, wtf??? yeah.. That shit drove me INSANE. See, mechanics carry around things like ignition wrenches and the like, you can just UNDO the nuts that hold those wires onto the coil, seriously.. it's QUITE SIMPLE. Ahhhh that drives me crazy!
