Fact: you don't get to pick to be 11c or 11b The Army picks that for you. Fact: 11 series you'll be sweeping and mopping 80% of your time in the Army. Not even making this up. So think long and hard about the MOS you pick. Even if you wanna be a Ranger you'll still do that crap seen it first hand. Yeah it needs to be done. But 11 series isn't a Specialty MOS. So you get stuck with the amazing details. But if you want it. WORK ON RUNNING and RUCKING. Basic is easy

I'm not against females wanting to serve. They dont ask to be born a female and it feels really unfair that some things are taken away from you over something you have NO control of. Its not like you are a cripple or disabled, you are otherwise a healthy human being. You just happen to be a woman. But at the same time, biology cannot be overruled. MEN ARE BETTER AT IT, in most cases. Thats the truth. Even men are asked to be at a certain punishing standards to even succeed and many couldnt hack it. The military has always been for the best of men, not ALL men. I just think that females should be allowed to serve in all female units. NO MIXING. That way even if standards are uneven it wont affect all male units. The country still get to keep the most likely more potent combat units(all males) but still have extra unit formations of all female when shit really hit the fan. The military gets the best of everything.

Iron Brigador there is a certain physical standard that has to be met in a job like infantry. Most women cannot handle that, so they have different standards for women. I think that’s bullshit. I see a lot of people in here who are all butt hurt about the fact that women can enlist in the military. But things have changed now. Warfare has changed. I’m not pro-feminist or SJW or anything but warfare has now adjusted to the point where you don’t need as much physical strength as you did back during the Roman and Dark Ages. You put a woman out there with a shield, sword, and armor, you’re sending her to her death. Soldiers back then were huge and could literally break your bones with their bare hands. So just imagine pinning a woman against someone like that and can’t even lift her sword up with one hand. Nowadays, you pretty much just aim and fire. Melee combat isn’t as likely on the field now. But they do teach you combative training. In case it comes to that. Also no because women’s physical forms aren’t designed for fighting or anything close to it. They’re a lot more fragile than men are. So when that fatigue kicks in you’re gonna need a lot more recovery time. And warfare nowadays also involves a lot of running and parkour related stuff.
@CRAZYHORSE196820035 жыл бұрын
MC King, you are wrong on so many levels. I served in the Infantry from 91-95 with the 3/22 infantry battalion at Schofield Barracks HI. We were a light infantry division, which meant we had no vehicles so we carried everything on our backs. My average Rucksack weighed 120 pounds. That isn't even counting my LBE, Kevlar, and weapon. So my combat load was about 150 pounds, we would carry that load up to 12 miles at a time through some of the hardest terrains and still have to be combat effective at the end. I can say with 100% certainty that there wasn't a woman on the PLANET who could have served in our unit and been anything more than a liability. The military is not a place for social engineering and putting women into combat units as a whole and infantry specifically has done NOTHING but weaken our military. That is a fact that can not be debated.

Remember that this is only a training school. When you get into a real T.O.&E. unit then the real training begins. Real learning comes from decades of experience. Don't think a job in the infantry branch will help any career in civilian life. It hasn't and never will. Even if you try to stay in the military all promotions you need to make that career are on a needs basis. If they have all the Sergeant's they need there will be no promotions. Generally, it is a situation of "move up" or "move out" for every military, regardless of nation. As you get into civilian life you might find employers claiming they hire veterans. Why? Your a big tax deduction for the first two years after discharge. At least in America. After that it's "Who cares about you." So if you go into the military just go to do something for a bigger cause than the self. Expect nothing in return. Because you do, you will be disappointed. Had many job interviews that were going well, until that part where I stated my military service. The next thing I heard was, "I don't think you're conducive for our clientele." One was my attempt at getting a councilor position in a Reform School. Young people that are sent there will be going to prison next. Not condusive to our clientele? BS if anything else. Add to the fact you will have more problems with arthritis as you age, other possible problems as age progresses. Just join up and serve a greater good and never expect anything else.
@TRUMPisOPPA5 жыл бұрын
Sorry that happened to you. ☹️ Military members have proven dedication/work ethic simply by history of serving so I don’t know why employers would want to avoid them.
@whomagoose68974 жыл бұрын
Everyone working in any job, civilian jobs, an employer is looking for three things. Each employee makes the employee's paycheck, the employee's paycheck, and, a profit for the employers. This should tell everyone that a job merely puts food on your table, a roof over your head, and, possibly something left over to pay other bills. The only way to succeed is to have a business if your own. Just try to get investment capital to start your own business. Those same employers want job skills, not qualities that employers want. Another fact is every employer will only pay the least amount that it takes to get somebody to do that job. This is why polititions are paid a lot of money from big corporations to allow desperate immigrants, legal or illegal, in the country. The cost of labor is the only cost that can be manipulated. Land and Capital are fixed costs. This is conundrum of the regular working slug in this country. You can never have enough left over to generate investment capital to invest in your own business. There was a time decades ago that the Democratic Party looked out for the regular working slug. Now days the Democratic Party doesn't give a dam about anything other than maintaining power. To propagate silly issues of Marxist ideals, climate change crap, leftist issues and such. So go be a soldier, sailor, airman or a Marine. Have the satisfaction that you are doing something for a greater good. And, serve a nation of people that would just as soon spit on your grave. Plenty of Vietnam veterans endured that ridicule.

In God We Trust how was it i leave next month
@pharaoh48665 жыл бұрын
@@tylerbyrne807 Just follow these simple tips and you'll be fine. 1. Follow directions 2. Right place, right time, right uniform 3. Try hard at pt to better yourself in all aspects, whatever u are weak at start doing your own pt to get better at that. 4. Sound off and don't be afraid to speak to a drill sergeant, remember to always stand at parade rest and address them as "drill sergeant blah blah blah drill sergeant" 5. Don't be afraid to police the retards in the platoon, of Course don't be a complete dickhead or else people won't like you. That's about it, just follow directions the first time and focus on the task at hand, its gonna be hard while ur there but ull look back at it and remember it being pretty easy. Its a check the box course so all u really have to do is show up and meet the minimum standards to pass (at the end of osut ull see what I mean when u look around ur platoon and go "how the fuck did those 2 guys make it"). Just stay as motivated as possible, 30th Ag will suck dick but remember you'll be out of there soon, in red phase you'll be put with impossible time hacks and other stupid shit that will get your platoon smoked everyday, just keep remembering that it gets better and everyone has to go through it. Be prepared to get smoked because of other people. That's about it if u have any questions let me know. Good luck!

Recruiters will start to talk to me then ask for my information then that will be it and they won’t say anything or tell me if I can join or anything. It’s like they ask me to join and I say ok how do we do this and they won’t say anything back at all. Just ignore me....maybe it’s because I’m a Ojibwe Native American.
