YOOOOOOO! This takes me back! AIT was really fun. Stressful but definitely fun. I remember some faces in this video like: CPT Kman, SSGT McConnel, SSGT Voelker. CPT Kman was the company commander for Juliet company; Very insightful and helpful leader. The cadre were tough (as part of their job) but definitely great leadership in general. Proud to be a member of the JAG Corps!

What’s your take on 270A warrants?
@brendanwilson48764 жыл бұрын
If you’re the bookish type, you’ll love this MOS. Extremely research and administration driven, you will definitely acquire a mind set and a set of administrative skills that will serve you well in a post military career. Here’s the the thing: Civilian law and military law are two very different beasts and learning about the former means going to school and starting from scratch to learn to be a paralegal in the civilian world. The money isn’t that great either. Heck, a new lawyer fresh out of law school will be hard pressed to make more than 60K for the first few years. A paralegal will really need to hustle and be creative to find a steady flow of new work to make an OK living. This MOS is for those who love learning about law and legal procedure. Good stuff but it doesn’t pay great post military.

This is definitely at the top of my list of MOS’s I want to enlist in the Army, 27D is my number 1 choice and I need a 105 on the ASVAB (Clerical) and I been asking so many times as a 27D can you still attend special skills training such as Airborne School, Air Assault, Pathfinder etc and I always got the answer of yes, if my recruiter can get it in my contract

Hello, just a few questions. Do you qualify for any college credits towards a JD upon completion of AIT? Would you recommend this MOS as a reclass in the guard? Do you receive a bonus or any sign on benefits from this MOS currently?

Just like any MOS in the Army, paralegals can still go Airborne and/or Air Assault to earn their "wings" and "parachute" badge.

@alexandersmith30803 жыл бұрын
You need to be able to qualify for a secret clearance for this MOS.
@Lucidiumshards3 жыл бұрын
I know citizenship may be an issue when enlisting. Regarding the clearance, The Dept. of Defense contacts you regarding this and setsup interviews with you, your family and your friends/coworkers. You go through a series of questions regarding; Finance, loyalty to the US, foreign country status, between others. I takes within a month to get your clearance and its all done by their part. All you do is answer with information and they do all the investigating.
