Man that's tough. Just finishing a PPL track so no issue for me but I think there are a lot of folks that want Light Sport training from traditional schools but can't legally train in anything but an LSA which many schools just don't have. CFI's that have to "sell" the PPL track starting at 15k probably get a lot of silent "thanks but no thanks" from perspective students.

You bet. It's been a big question out there. I even asked an FAA rep and he wouldn't commit to a time, but they are working on it.

Mid 2025 is kinda disappointing but that does give me time to save up for my license so there is a bright side.

Mid 2025? That's not what I wanted to hear........I guess it'll give me more time to save but having to rent a 162 at my local airport until the ruling is in effect will be a bummer.

@@EasyFlight Ugh......I know it's just an opinion but what are your thoughts on the prices of secondary market LSAs once MOSAIC is implemented? I'm not an expert but I'm assuming that they will decrease since larger planes C172, Pipers, etc will be a better option. Thoughts?

@@2acrfirearms270 That is my hope. I just became a Sport pilot, and I want to buy an LSA bush style plane. I have been thinking about waiting, as prices will adjust when MOSAIC happens. I think in my favor.

Yeah, the sooner the better as some of us are completely aging out of doing any kind of PIC flying other than as a passenger. Oh well unlucky for us I guess...

I spoke to a LSA dealer and they said the same thing……mid 2025. Maybe some news will leak at Sun & Fun.

Why don't they work just like Congress, pass it to know what's in it! Ajust down the road with revisions. Government does this all the time.
