Zetterlund was a pretty nice "throw-in" piece for Mike Grier in the Timo Meier trade

As a Devils fan who saw Zetterlund in the system, just love the kid. What a solid player and quality young man. A player you can build your franchise around. I would not be surprised to see him wear a letter on his chest in the near future

I think the sharks have now won the timo meier trade with how zetturlund has come along. He’s scoring more than meier this year. Never would’ve expected that

Im so excited for another season of faceoff! I found it so interesting to see a bit more of the player's personalities. Honestly I just wish it was longer. Thought it did a good but very abbreviated job of showing the tension/emotion of the stanley cup playoffs. Would for sure recommend the watch

As a Zetterlund who lives near San Francisco, I'm happy the Sharks are extending a Zetterlund 😂

Ouch for Moser. At least he should be back in time for the playoffs, with a few warmup games at the end of the regular season.

Did the Sharks win the Timo Meier trade? Essentially the Sharks got Zetterlund, Mukuhmadullin and Musty for Meier.
@jayjopam850513 сағат бұрын
And Cap space. Timo always grabbed top dollar.

zetterlund was a great part of the trade that sent meier to njd. if shakir also pans out sharks will have done really well with that trade.

Sharks need to extend Granlund as well.
@camc922517 сағат бұрын
I'd love that, but I feel like we could get SO much for him rn
@kingtchenka62813 сағат бұрын
No. He'll be very bad and old by the time Sharks are contenders, and his trade value as a rental is high. Get a 1st round pick that can actually help you when you're competing in 5 years.
@iliaponomarev162411 сағат бұрын
@camc9225 Nah, any reasonable GM would look up the history of Granlund being a deadline acquisition and politely refuse. Plus, Sharks can't retain anything themselves.
@GoodMenstruationAttitude15 сағат бұрын
Zetterlund's a modern day power forward. Doesn't really chase hits, but doesn't back down from anybody and always willing to drive the net. Decent hands and blazing feet, SJ is lucky to have him - Grier is absolutely killin it.

Thanks for the video! Cirelli is playing after sitting out the morning skate and has already scored. Bruins should be dumping everything on their books as soon as they can. The AHL is seeing lots of talent joining them again. Mrasek might have been rushed. Not sure how I feel about retro fixes. Great info and insights!

What’s the rules on terminating contracts? Because obviously you can’t do it all willy nilly since buyouts exist
@defaultuser144715 сағат бұрын
It's a good question. What I have understood is that it either has to be by agreement, like players going to Europe, or for violations of team rules. So I don't know what it is here.
@MrBlazemaster52510 сағат бұрын
IIRC as long as it's not for cause the team pays out a proportion of the remaining money on it
@ShaunAnderson_Sauce18 сағат бұрын
Brother these guys make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year even at the minimum salary. If they get terminated before Christmas it will not affect Christmas in the Slightest for his family. Let's get a grip here. This isn't like laying off someone making 60k a year living paycheck to paycheck
@HOBOTw1tcH13 сағат бұрын
So if his contract is terminated, he still gets paid right? You can’t just back out of a contract like that can you?

Terrified Grier will trade away Granlund. Getting stuck in a perpetual building cycle like his Brother did in MiMi
@kingtchenka62813 сағат бұрын
Granlund in 5 years from now = trash or retired. Trade him for a 1st round pick ( equals 18 year old kid ) at deadline. You don't NEED to win games yet. Granlund helping Sharks win games this year doesn't help anything in the long term.
