There are about 4+ other teachers that I listen to. Most of the time they interpret the scriptures, but you seem to dig deep into the scriptures. You bring a fresh approach to the lesson. This lesson is one of those times that WOWs me. I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself clear enough. Just know that you are one of my favorites. Never miss a lesson from you. Thank you for all of your time and talent in teaching us. You are amazing.

I was asked this question about forgiveness by a friend: "How can you forgive a person when a person doesn't ask forgiveness from you?" Or forgive others when others don't realised that they've done you wrong? Or admit they have hurt you. Please help enlighten. Please answer 🙏 (There are 2: forgiveness to one person who is related to you and also to several people who had done a misconduct over you that are close to you )

Remember that forgiving someone is about you not them. You are forgiving them since Christ has asked us to do that. Also it will set you free and you no longer have to bear the burden of that which you haven’t forgiven over and over in your brain. Not forgiving someone is like drinking poison yourself and waiting for the other person to die.

For 3 years I dispised a person who I just could not stand then a few days ago it came to me that without forgiving him I could not stand before the lord without guilt I would not make it. I rang that person and told him what came to me at first he just let loose on me. I asked him if he was willing to stand before the lord with his unforgiving heart and risk his eternal progression and did he really think his unforgiving feelings on me were worth the risk. He calmed down. I knew I had to make a change I thought of it as a missionary moment under very difficult circunstances, both members who once would have married but unforgiving feelings became our stumbling block. How could I stand before the lord with that and pass by the sentenals. I knew I would not and I want to be worthy. Its about my relationship with God. Well now this man I dispised and I have decided to be friends to respect each other but regardless I would have moved on. I thought 3 years of unforgiving each other could not be wasted I knew I could turn this around but it had to start with me. God is good and he will help you to find a way. He helped me.

Forgiveness is something that happens in your heart, not a conversation that you have with someone else. I like the definition that says: forgiveness is giving up the desire to change the past. If I've quit constantly worrying and being angry about an experience in my past- then I feel I've forgiven.
