I really considered purchasing one of these… but I bought a match grade Springfield M1A and a Leatherwood HiLux M-1200 instead… kind’a wish I would have just gone for a PSL 🤔 but for a Mosin, I believe this is the best setup you could possibly build. I’m actually pretty impressed with the quality of this chassis and everything I have seen or read about them is positive… I may actually still get one in the near future. Very nice job on the video Big Sam. Thanks for sharing it, always appreciate your perspective and experience.

I have watched a bunch of your videos and I was curious if you could do a side by side comparison between the KYPK chassis and the Archangel. I have been weighing the pros and cons of the 2 and I really like both but the cost of the raven is kind of steep. I feel like the Archangel checks a lot of the boxes for what most people want in a modern mosin chassis especially the cost. One thing I'm not sure of is the weight difference between them. Logic would say that the polymer frame of the Archangel would be lighter than the KYPK but you did remark at the beginning of this video how surprised you were at how light it was. Anyway, I think it would be cool if you made a video comparing the different options of aftermarket stocks for the mosin.

Sam I have one of the early M27. My question is would either one of the after market stocks fit mine?

Howdy Johnny, in order to fit an M27 in this chassis, you would have to remove the front sight assembly, as well as the whole rear sight base. The best candidate for this chassis is a rifle that has already sporterized

I have one of these on a finnish m28/76 sniper with a timney trigger and this is the way to go with a quality mosin... found another and put my son's m39 into it
