The leather scabbard is Romanian. I just looked in the Romanian section of the book "Bayonets & Battle Knives of Bulgaria, Greece and Romania" where leather scabbards are mentioned. These scabbards are post-WW2, not post-WWI.The Romanian section is written by Horia Serbanescu, one of the directors of the Romanian National Military Museum and by his son, Mihnea Serbanescu, a historian. These scabbards appeared about 10 years ago in sizable quantities when the Romanian government sold them off as surplus.

Hi. A rifle that I’d like to learn more about are the last bolt action FN Mauser chambered in 30.06. They seem quite unusual. Cheers

Wow , but why it seems like the bayonet isn’t sharp in the top side? Does these bayonet need to be processed before give to the soldiers? and how would happen when it stabbing the human body?

The tip of these bayonets was formed as a screwdriver, for use when stripping down and cleaning the rifle. Hence the flat tip.

Idk about russian part, it seems to be mix. I seen original photos and videos of russian have bayonets fixed and not fixed on their mosins during combat.

I recently acquired a Mosin-Nagant Bayonet Identical to the one on the far right of the table, with the serial number 4153 with another triangle shaped stamp above it. I haven't been able to find any info at all. Any advice?
