I’ve been looking at the Hood Tank Bag. I’m glad you brought up the tethering the phone case to the bag. I think you should add a strip of mole webbing along the left and right side of that tank bag high enough up to hang a pair of glasses. It could also be used as an additional tether spot fo this case or small flat cases could be added to the side. ❤

Any thoughts about doing a magnetic version of your tank bags? Would love the ability to just grab the tank bag to bring it with me when I do a restroom, restaurant, or resupply stop. Obviously only useful to folks with a metal tank.

Hey! Because our focus is primarily ADV/off-road travel, we've opted-out of using magnets on our tank bags. Magnets attract dirt, which scratches metal tanks, and as you mentioned.. they're only compatible with metal tanks. Our universal tank bag mounting system works on most bikes. Hope this helps!

good points pete. how do you download gps routes eg BDRs onto your phone? do you have to go thru basecamp or similar. just got my shipment of mosko gear in 9 days from order. amsterdam to NZ, bloody good service

One thing I don't like is how inconvenient it is to connect and disconnect the phone from the cable .
