Good video! Thanks. A little tip on using the sleeve with the two foam strips: I use this Navigator Pocket to hold a “max” iPhone 10 on top of my Hood 5 and simply flip the sleeve over so the foam strips are on the opposite side or backside of the sleeve behind the phone which helps stabilize the phone and presses it more firmly to the clear window. Works great and I don’t have to worry about where I stashed (lost) the padded sleeve in the future. 😬

I did notice some issues with the cellphone using my RAM mount so I just stopped using it. This is a solid solution to the vibration problem you get from using a bar mount.

Cool, sounds like a great accessory for my new ride and Nomad tank bag. Thanks Ash, great instructive vid and love how casual and confident you are in general and in your skin. Very empowering for younger women-thanks from an older woman!

This is awesome. I have personally lost TWO I-Phones (one work, one personal) due to handle bar vibration destroying the camera! I am so happy to see another solution!! Now, I just need to decide which tank bag to get...

Very good video! Have ordered a nomax with the navigator and now I know how to properly set it up.

Yup. I'll be ordering soon. Damn it. And yes, mounting my phone on the bars killed the camera.

Great product. Ordered one at EU warehouse:) Do you think about a smaller version for regular iPhone (non plus version)?

Thank you for posting. As usual, this video was very articulate and precise. A feature I really like about Mosko Moto's instructional videos. A couple of more comments. You call the flap a sun shade, which, after you explain it, makes sense but when you first used the term, I thought of a flap/shield which would block the sun from reflecting from the screen of the phone, while still allowing the rider to see the screen. Did I make sense? Also, you state the handle bar approach (i.e. the RAM mount) would shake and bake the phone to where the phone's image stability mechanism could be damaged (know of at least one person who had this experience). How does this pouch prevent this from happening? It was not discussed in your video.
@MoskoMoto4 жыл бұрын
I should have mentioned this, you're right! Because you're mounting to a soft piece of luggage, that is absorbing and dispersing the vibration coming from the bike. Thanks!

Sorry, one more question. I assume this product is not water proof. Am I correct? But it would be sort of water proof if one were to install it on the Nomad and then use the Nomad cover to protect it during a rain?
@mikeped4 жыл бұрын
Should have watched before I installed... I didn't weave the molle straps and had the Velcro pad centered by just hooking them together under the bag. It worked. When you are threading the molle straps through on the pico, as shown on the video, realize that the velcro pad will be offset up or down relative to the bag. I chose down after playing around with it a few times. Also realize that if you have the sun shield attached at the bottom, it covers the vent holes. I'll be using this to replace the ram mount, which tended to get swatted by bush on the tighter trails. Going out for a ride and testing it now. :)

Hi there and first of all many thanks for the again great video - I now understood my first mistakes for the installation with the Molle system. But I still have a question: I used on the Pico and installed the Pico very near to the handlebars. So the Pico is not disturbing while riding. But I had the problem that the sun and screen of the phone/ the foil of the navigator pocket reflects very much, so I couldn’t see much on the screen. I assume it is necessary to install the tank bag more towards myself - am I right? I think the Nomad tank bag is more formed like this by design... Many thanks and greetings!

I lived in Indonesia 16 years and theft is a big issue. One day in my car in stop and go traffic there was a man walking down sidewalk with his cellphone to his ear. A motorcycle rider came by, reached out, grabbed the man’s phone and took off in the traffic. No way to catch him. I’ve come out of stores and caught thieves stealing the side mirrors off of cars.
@MoskoMoto2 жыл бұрын
Hey Stephen, theft is terrible. We hate to hear that. We design our gear with off-road backcountry travel in mind where locking is not top priority. We recommend removing valuables if your gear is left alone in populated areas.

I'm kind of feeling ignorant but i follow this video to properly attached the cell phone pocket to my Nomax Tank Bag, but it doesn't seem to fit properly. On the Pico is easier since it's smaller, but on the Nomax, the velcro patch and or the molle straps seem to be shorter than it should be causing the molle webbing to be, let's say, in stress due to the force of the straps are causing, and not staying stretched. (Sorry, probably there are a better way/terms to explain it). Yesterday i sent an email to Mosko, with photos attached, and now is waiting to see what they'll say. (UPDATE: Trying it now on a different way, it seems that the main problem is the velcro patch; it should be larger. Since it isn't, and for the situation i mentioned earlier no not happen, i have to run the molle straps through one of the molle webbing and the other through the one closest to the 1st (Nomax has 3 molle webbing) which makes the velcro patch to not be centered.

hopefully our CS team got you all sorted here, I have a navigator mounted to my nomax no problem so maybe you had an unusually short velcro patch? *head scratcher* shoot us an email if you're still in limbo here.

When will this be available for purchase again?
@arunprabhu75922 жыл бұрын
I purchased the Navigator case, however, I'm unable to navigate or use the touch screen. Full disclosure, I have a Zagg screen protector on my phone. Does the screen protector hamper the functionality of the clear case? It is so odd that such a fundamental feature does not work. I have opened a support case too. I love the case, and I would hate to return it for this reason.
@MoskoMoto2 жыл бұрын
Hi Arun, you should be able to use your touch screen through the Navigator, but yes, with additional layers of protection it becomes more difficult. Our service team will get you taken care of. 👍

We love quad lock too, don't get me wrong! I use one on my MTB all the time. It might be more a problem with the thumpers, bikes with more vibration. Both Pete and I have ruined cameras this way.

I always use my smartphone in a horizontal orientation. I take it that this is not an option with this device......or do I presume to much?
@apuradojustin4 жыл бұрын
Since the attachment is by velcro, you could just orient it horizontally.
