Currently, in modern U.S.A. culture, especially in impoverished communities, the term is not only used loosely as basically an alternative to "dude", but also as a sign of extreme respect and near brotherhood between two individuals. For instance, if a friend was to show up at a cookout, with an uninvited friend, he would tell the host something to the effect of "Nah bro, this my nigga"....meaning, "this my boy, this my dog, this is a friend.....this is a dude you can fk with".....anyway, point is, (as I have managed to accidentally erase this post several times before actual post), I stopped the video(part 2) around 13:14, after....I mean I guess I'm talking to "you, the host", referred to both the Spanish twins and this Jake dude as nigga, with 0 insult intended. Because, as all folks from mixed rural/impoverished communities know, the term nigga not only transcends racial boundaries, but has transformed from a completely negative term to a completely positive term. Let my getto white self roll into a party as the sole cream filling, and here a black dude tell the host "this my nigga..."....think Ima be insulted? Hell nah nigga, that dude jus gave me status....and that, in the hood...I mean....thats life.
