Miss Four Tops so badly and nowadays very few people interact that life feels so cold . I just can't understand why leaders have not listened to the greats of the past especially the seventies era. I thought leaders would listen and learn and implement their knowledge with everyone but they seem to not care about anyone and have not listened to our artists and authors and the world seems destined to be careless and now artificial intelligence seems to be the only thing they are concerned with. Marvin Gay(e) as well as millions of other creative people told them in a prophetic way but they have not listened and it seems to me that this is going to begin a world that doesn't care any more. I hope I am wrong but this is the conclusion I have arrived at 63 years old. Peace and Love Always.

Two years from your post and I'm with my head phones stepping into the 2nd version and lovin it. I wish someone would bring back male and female groups today resembling fro back in the day. Skip Hollywood, CHI-TOWN in the house. There has got to be some youth out there wanting to sing true R&B...Holla.

Smokey Robinson was the greatest songwriter of all time... Many artists have done his songs and he wrote for many of the Motown greats. This is a beautiful collaboration with Frank Wilson.. I tried to copy Smokey's falsetto because I loved it so much.. Beautiful and precious song for all to hear. I am thankful to have been exposed to all of this music growing up.

This very simple song and simple lyrics saids so much. It tells of standing alone in a society of tormoil. However, you look at the decaying and know that you are still living and surviving as best as you can.YES, "Still Waters Run Deep". No one writes songs like this anymore that touch the Heart, Soul and Mind of a HUMAN-BEING. I am so blessed to have been alive when this song was created. I thank the Four Tops for such a heart felt song today. ☮️.

This song echoed throughout the streets of my community, when I was a kid, always playing in stores, out second floor Windows, flowing in the wind, hearing it in background but I never knew the words until recently. Now, it takes on a new meaning and new depth of precious, profound nostalgia, meaning and memory

For almost one half a century, I have listen to this incredible song...I love it as much today as 46 years ago. How lucky we were to have had Levi, Smokey and Frank. I wish the beauty of this song could make all people put down their fears and hate. If we all took the hand of our neighbor and felt the love that we should have for one another....P is for the privilege of loving and the privilege of being loved....Walk with me....take my hand!!
