Your video is a great help in preparation to race this track. I'll be previewing it frequently in order to prepare for my time when I drive the Porsche 911 GT3 RS on the track in June. The ending that showed the nonstop lap performance was a bonus and truly amazing to watch.

That T1 is proper scary. Can't wait to drive DDT myself!

You get used to it pretty quick but it's one of those corners you have to refamiliarize every track day, mostly when to start braking haha

Super duper in-depth and awesome comparisons between your setup and other 86's, I hope lots of people find this video and go drive DDT, it's a real treat

Agreed! This is a great guide to a great track. Anybody that's not been on DDT before should watch this vid before heading out.

I find it very interesting how very similar your general notes are compared to my own track notations on my lines. I drive an 11 STi with no susoension , wheel or tire mods really, and we tactically run the course very much the same. Even the 2nd kink where you rev match instead of H&T, i found this helps me brake later into that 2nd kink turn and still rotate fine at the top. I try to do MOST of my braking going up the hill. I think the way you have described your run can be helpful to many, regardless of drive trains. Turn 2 I take a little different than you, but you carry much more speed towards and during that corner. I think when you are new to the course most folks will be more comfortable running close to the texture and doing a later turn in. You turn in though at pretty much the same marker as me there. I think there are a lot of German craft there that grumble at the 86s and BRZs! Really a GREAT technical driver's course!

Thanks Andy! Yes very technical track with a high ceiling that will keep drivers of all skill levels entertained :) I’ll be updating this before end of season!
