Mosquito Lagoon Island camping (Men's Mental Health Break)

Paddling, food, fire, fellowship, and coffee.
Old friends and I paddle out across Mosquito Lagoon, camp for 4 days, endure noseeums, and explore the waterways around the mangrove islands. I play some acoustic guitar in the background of these clips. The brief electric is stock from iMovie. For this trip, I just turned on the GoPro and went. It's (clearly) not planned. The last 10 minutes is a conversation with the world about Men's Mental Health, because the subject was brought up with me, and I figure I'd "espouse" a bit on it, because it's a valid (if not the only, or even top) reason for this trip. It's a bit of a philosophical caricature of one trait, for emphasis. No obligation to listen or to agree with me. Conversation is good.
I appreciate my brothers who endure the heat, the bugs, the chaos, and the adventure with me year-after-year. I've been miles deep in a Florida swamp with them more than once, so if it ever seems like we're a bit careless...we've been doing this for a long time and still have our fingers and toes.

Thanks, Tim! I just turned the GoPro on and left it. Not the best production value in my opinion, but it was a fun adventure. The noseeums were no joke lol!!! They crawled through my mosquito netting and swarmed me the first night. I’m investing in some specialized mosquito netting pretty soon.
