Moss Mix test part 3 - It works!

How to make moss grow in a terrarium or a paludarium tank. In the part 3, I show you my test of the Moss Mix on peat brick background. I get a nice green moss carpet for rainforest vivarium. No use of the Hygrolon anymore.

Thanks for sharing! I've made the experience that you can grow aquatic mosses on hygrolon very well the way you did it. But terrestial mosses need drought times too, means I program 1 day a week without any water on my timer.. works pretty good so far since 5 months.

Thank you for the update. I'm working on my three Orchadiums, and I was tempted to use hygrolon on the back wall, instead of cork or coco fiber. I think I will skip it for now.

Thanks for sharing! As a side not powdered Yucca makes a great all natural safe wetting agent for substrates that will have sensitive animals in contact with them.

Merci :) Par contre pas d'Epiweb dans cette vidéo. Si tu parles de l'Hygrolon il vient de chez Bourbon Nature. Je crois qu'il est tout seul en France à le distribuer; Et il vend bien de l'Epiweb aussi d'ailleurs.

@@arrirom Ce sont juste les différence d'éclairage et de balance des blancs des photos qui donnent ça mais je te confirme qu'il est bien marron tirant sur le gris.

In fact yes but I'm not sur that coco fibre is very durable through the time.
