I'm from Maine originally and up north fat backs are called just plain salt pork. My mother would always put it in homemade baked beans but sometimes she would fry it when we had pancakes. It was really good with pancakes!!

I remember my Mama frying that fat back to season her greens. She would make them homemade biscuits and put her some fat back in between them biscuits and she was a Happy woman. My Mama was a wonderful cook. Titus and Falon I love watching y'all. Y'all have a beautiful family filled with love. I found your channel a couple of years ago.
