I’ve been doing this for years and can’t believe more people don’t do it! Instead of cracking my egg shell on the counter, I crack it against another egg shell. Works fantastic ! Only one of the eggs will crack when you smack them together and you don’t make a mess on the counter. Please give this a try! I learned about it from a professional baker. Your first one you’ll probably not smack them together hard enough but you’ll get the hang of it real quick. I very seldom get egg shells in my bowl!

It did not have eggs but had a can of cream style corn and drained white corn and Jiffy Cornbread Mix. Our family loved that one too and it will be interesting to taste the two. I love cooking and am excited to try an easy dish like this! Tom, you and Melissa did it again. 😊 I bought your cookbook and am enjoying browsing through it. I know it is easy to pull up a recipe with my IPad but call me old school, old fashioned, whatever you will, there is something about holding a cookbook in my hands that I love. I have collected so many of them over the years and have tried to make myself throw away cooking magazines and try as I might, I cannot DO it! They just become a part of me, as close as an age old novel that I cherish. I love books period, and cookbooks especially. And I thank you for all the work, all the hours you spent putting it together. I will always think you did it for me and for others that felt as I do. I love you guys and am so glad you enjoy keeping this channel going. God Bless you and protect your spirits! And may he always strengthen you if you are ever weary from the work. You should use your whisk attachment for your mixer. Whips those egg whites better and faster!
@tomwyant92976 сағат бұрын
I should have used the whisk. I'll do that the next time.

We love the white shoepeg corn as well. I can eat it right out of the can. I think I will bake it at 340 - 350 degrees when I make this.

Mary, I have been so impressed reading all the comments about the wonderful charity work done by the telephone pioneers. What an amazing organization! I'm wondering if there was a Pioneers cookbook from each state. It would be interesting to know and to see how many I could track down. The one I have is a fantastic cookbook. Thank you for watching our video! We do appreciate it.

Trish, several people have posted here that they have been telephone pioneers in their community. I have read many stories tonight about the wonderful charity work done by the telephone pioneers.
