Emergency Fuel Shut-off Switch - Why You Need One (Moss# 900-240)

When in an accident, either a fender bender or a roll-over, you want the protection of having a Fuel Shut-off switch. At a reasonable impact the power is shut-off going to the fuel pump.

It’s called an ( Inertia switch ) people and you can pull up your car diagram or owners manual and look at ( Wiring Diagram ) and find where it is.

Ford put that stupid thing by the passenger floor board and every once in a while the passenger will touch it with there foot and it will literally kill the motor at any speed. These things can cause more accidents than there worth.

This happened to me tonight. I got rear ended, and the car shut off after a minute or two. Luckily a bystander knew about it.

Does anyone know how you wire this thing in??? I have search all over the web and there is nothing telling you how to do the install.. it has two wires... its it power and ground or do you splice this in between the pump and the power... I have had this thing for 2 weeks now and Its been impossible to find any answers... Thanks in advance to anyone that can help. The unit did not come with install instructions.. thanks again!

its not polarity sensitive. you put it in line with one of the wires which runs to the fuel pump
