Does Baalor ever explain why the echo form breaks when you play the card with one already in play? Like why don’t you have to wait until the following turn in order to doup 3 cards? It should only doup the echo form and nothing else until the following turn if you only have one in play..

1 Stack of Echo Form duplicates the first card you play. 3 stacks of Echo Form duplicate the first 3 cards you play. If you have 1 Echo Form and then duplicate an Echo Form, you now have 3 stacks of Echo Form, but you only played one card. So you get two more duplications that turn.

​@@HardxCorpsxKali It's not bad coding. The logic behind echo form stays consistent over all turns. Power card effects become active immediately after playing them, but some effects can not be triggered on the same turn that they become active. For example, if triggering an effect has as condition "At the start of each turn...", then of course the effect can not be triggered in the same turn where it became active, since the start of the same turn has happened before playing the card, i.e. when the effect wasn't yet active. Now to come back to echo form: The first turn in which you play one or in fact any number of echo forms, none of the doubling effects can possibly be triggered. But the reason for that is NOT that the effect becomes active at the start of the next turn, but that the condition for triggering the effect cannot be met on this turn. For instance, if the first card that you play in your first turn is an echo form, then the next card in this turn will not be played twice, because it is the second and thereby not the first card that is played in this turn. The same holds true when you play any number of echo forms in that turn, because to play the k-th card in a turn twice you need k stacks of echo form, but you can only play up to k-1 echo forms until you play your k-th card, where k is any positive integer. However starting from the next turn, the card play count resets. So assume you have played exactly one echo form on your first turn and play as first card in your second turn another echo form. This echo form will be played twice because it's the first card that is played on that turn. But through this you get 2 another stacks of the effect while having only played one card in this turn (Duplication of a card play counts only as one card that you, as the player, played. The "you" in the description of echo form is here important, because if all card plays would count, so also the ones that happen because of echo form its effect, than an echo form duplication on the start of a turn would result in an infinite loop of echo form plays.). Now since you have three stacks of echo form, but have only played 1 card, the next two cards, already in this turn, will be played twice.

@@HardxCorpsxKali If you play 100 echo forms back to back starting with the first card play of the turn after the turn where you played your first and only one echo form, then yes, they will all be played twice and moreover not only one but even 101 cards after the 100 echo forms will be played twice. That is because each doubled echo form will give 2 stacks, so that after playing all of them, you get a total of 201 stacks (including the single stack from the first echo form). As a little add on, in the second turn, it is not even necessary to play all echo forms forms back to back to get the max stack. Let n and m be the current count of echo forms and cards that aren't echo forms that you have played in the second turn, respectively. As long as n>=m, you are able to get all 201 first card plays doubled. That means for example you could start with an echo form, then play a different card, then another echo form, then yet a different card and so on... and will also be able to get 201 card plays doubled.

It’s a glitch where you use the Smoke Bomb before the Heart fight, then when you go into the fight it ends the fight immediately. I don’t know how to do it, so that’s the best I can give you unfortunately.

Surprised by the lack of fan faire for a record break. The only thing that “puts me off” ever so slightly is that that isn’t entirely Baalor. There are clearly times over these runs where Twitch chat had an impact on decision making, would it have made a difference ultimately? I dunno. That said, I’ve now probably watched more Baalor than I’ve personally played STS (270 hours when I last checked!) and will continue to do so. So comfy! Just watching has improved my game so much, even if I don’t seem to be able to break A18 on Defect.
