There's another reason why Escape Plan isn't an automatic pick. If you play Acrobatics or Prepared and draw into Escape Plan, you have less information about what card to discard. Jorbs actually made an entire video about Escape Plan!

I'm not sure what he mentions in the video, but it's an extra card that draws 1 in the worst case for 0 cost. Seemingly without a downside until you consider it increments Time Eater and also causes Beat of Death if you don't draw a skill

Also, great assessment by Jorbs, never considered it that way. As small as that might seem, Escape Plan might cannibalize a Tools draw or Acrobatics draw on something like Tactician and royally screw you

5:11 a line to kill the attacking louse would be to olay the thousand cuts, neutralize and strike the other louse, then backstab the attacking louse. Edit: im actually not sure if the the thousand cuts activates before or after the rhiusand cuts so this might notve killed

He's already mastered it. Actually, I don't think it's even the hardest curse to master since it's guaranteed from the calling bell. Clumsy on the other hand doesn't have any guaranteed sources: you have to obtain it from Cursed Key, the gremlin's card game, or transforming another curse.

Amazing run! I have to wonder whether it was correct to start removing Backstabs in preparation for the endgame. Triple backstab was amazing at chewing through most of the game, but having to gamble them away and redraw them was almost a problem against Time Eater and then was a huge problem against Heart. You can really see how important draw consistency is for a deck like this; just one or two dead draws can be devastating. Still, wow, what a strong deck!

Even more energy-free very decent damage in opening hand. Helps with mitigating chip damage by bursting down certain enemies down fast, especially in act 2. And you are at least guranteed value of backstabs vs potentially not having enough energy to use it on the other 2 card you draw via bag of prep normally. And yeah, it worked quite well against the shelled parasite

Might as well be a dlc to be fair, why go on another game when you can basically add anything to the original game since the tech doesn't seem to be a limitation? Few people that would be willing to buy the sequel won't have the first game 🤔 Unless they decide to revamp the graphisms

​@@ElswordmodeRageux I mean, everything after Ascension 15 (including the heart, act 4 and the watcher) were all effectively free dlc in my book - significant expansions to an already mostly complete game. They developed it at a high pace for 4 years, I think it's fair for them to let go (which they basically have for the last 2 years or so). If you want more spire, check out the mods. Otherwise, there were rumours of another megacrit title in the works a couple years ago - we'll have to wait and see.
