BY luffy is very good once you figure out the strategies deal with each meta decks. People think BY luffy is bad bc you can simply don’t attack them. But once the st13 luffy is played on turn 5, they can simply manipulate their life. They can turn into 7k or 9k next turn even if you don’t attack the leader once. For some rush deck like RP law, once BY luffy find a way to turn into 7k with life, RP law would be struggled to attack. I have not lose to RP law for a long time and the game I lose is somehow my opponent play the 4c law and trash my Moria. I fail to sustain and lose my game. Imo, BY luffy deserves to be top tier bc it can handle every meta deck(even Bonnie and Hancock)

The issue with your assessment on luffy is that it's very hard to starve him, hyori, flampe, 5c luffy(both) all either have draw power or sack life. If this was 06 it'd be different.

Also to further elaborate he beats moria and lucci and does fine into law (whose sharaiya isn't as bad once we have egghead luffy). Worst match up is Bonnie.

@heartpiratestcg Because like most tcgs the player base has the attention span of toddlers who couldn't fathom a match lasting longer then 10 mins. Good players do not mind playing against the deck because it's easy to out if you are good. Bad players cry about it being boring and unfun.

If you’re asking about luffy into law: You only have sabos to make them waste their 1 drops, main use is to just to dig and fill your trash. Luffy and ace are what you want to go for normally since they cost a lot more to remove. If sabo eats a leader effect, I guess he did his job lol

by luffy vs rp law is so weird 😂 luffy is super bad and super good into law cuz it has the ability to get super tall and law can’t do much against that but shurayia fucks that up but also luffy have easy removal for it so it really just depends each game

Black yellow Luffy. Best way to describe it. Is it's the colour grey. Is not black nor is it yellow. It's such a different play style. Such a brain confuzzle to get use to but killer deck of you draw right if you don't draw your pretty much screwed. To many players figuring out Luffy so it's becoming a easy win

I saw YB Luffy winning alot at end of 07 in the East. It needs opp to swing at leader to get to 0 life, so really good against Lucci and Moria. 7k or 9k every turn after that. The only problem is leader effect discard 1 per turn and Egghead 5c Luffy helps with that.

The reason black yellow Luffy isn’t insane is due to it needing to be at 0 life to get the full benefit. I don’t attack forcing them to take their own life. I’m playing the new oden, and one of their weakness is the same as mine. Hand size. So I play the Kinemon Okiku combo and swing big. Forcing them to use up all their counter. So either I win that round or they only have like 2 cards left in hand.

Lucci only real bad match up is high roll Bonney or b/y Luffy. Luffy he's forced to tech against or he loses

As a Foxy main, we need some hard to remove high drops that hurt returns enemy don and stage that gives Foxy types less cost to play or gives you 1 Don back once per turn on Foxy pirates minus abilities.
