I don't know how the "man or a bear" question came about but I just see this as a silly trend/hypothetical question. If anything, I think this question can be used to understand why most women are cautious around men from a different perspective. On average, most men are stronger and some can be more aggressive than women. Sure a woman can trust men in her life, such as her family and friends. However, I believe the question states any "random man"? Regardless, if a woman chooses a bear or a man (which is logically sane) it reflects their personal opinion and choice. For nuance, I don't own a gun or any special means to protect myself so I may feel more threatened than someone who has protection. Surely an average dude isn't a serial killer and he would most likely help you out but it's just caution (stranger danger as you may say). I think men who hyperventilate and get aggressive with a random woman's choice are much scarier lol Because even if the question was "XYZ or a woman" I don't think any reasonable person would "see all red" because of it. They would just scoff and scroll away from the trend as we know both men and women play an integral role in society.
