I found your videos in late 2017 and basically, our family audio book list for '18 is all books you recommended (we are way out of the book world, so some of your videos from several years ago). My wife and I will probably do the same in 2019 (except when a new Harry Dresden comes out). You were SO excited in this video, it was really quite charming. The Gilded Wolves sounds really cool, I love historical Paris as a setting! My most anticipated books are probably Gods of Jade and Shadow (set in the Jazz Age in Mexico, where The Mayan God of Death sends a young woman on a journey), it was described as a "dark fairy tale", so that caught my interest, and then Ann Leckie's The Raven Tower, her first fantasy book (I really liked her scifi series starting with Ancillary Justice).

The Gilded Wolves was really good! It reminded me of a more Fantasy of Manners-ish version of Six of Crows. I think (well, hope) you'll end up loving it! My number 1 most anticipated book of 2019 is probably The Hod King by Josiah Bancroft.

Hi Sam!! I already told you this but I adore your enthusiasm about ‘Wicked saints’ (that is what has make me added to the wishlist ) . And I am here for the Erin Morgesten book too...although I have yet to read ‘The night circus’ (Shame, shame, shame). But I will read it, promises. In my case I am very excited about ‘A curse so dark and lonely’ by Brigid Kemerer. Have you heard of it? It’s a beauty and the beast retelling but the female main character is from our world and has cerebral palsy. Sorry if I sound too excited but I have been waiting for something like this for years! As someone with cerebral palsy it is very frustrating to see female main characters that are always able bodied and the disabled ones as pitied companions. It’s time to fight back!! So, yes, I am very, very excited! Thanks for the great video. I missed seeing your face. Lots of hugs
