What a missed opportunity. Falcon should have had his own development and remain a "hero." The Captain America title should have been thrusted upon Bucky by Steve Rogers. Here is the reason - Bucky already has super powers like Steve. Bucky was originally a hero and a good hearted man who had the same values as Steve Rogers having been around during WW2 and before. The best part is that trying to go from anti-hero/villain to hero is a great character study that can include in the story how he has to constantly prove himself to others as there is a trust issue. This creates a much richer, more complex, world for the new Captain America, a superhero.

All the crying going on about recasting these roles for new actors is honestly quite amusing. People have been whining that _____ person is the only one who can play the role of _____ character since at least the 50s. There are people who would not accept Superman unless it was Christopher Reeve. No one but Lynda Carter could ever be Wonder Woman, and The Hulk has been contentious since the beginning. I personally love the cheeky tribute and goodbye they gave to Wesley Snipes' Blade and Jennifer Garner's Elektra. I also enjoyed that Channing Tatum finally got to be Gambit after 20 years of begging. Enjoy your favorites but don't hold onto them so tightly that you miss out on what could be a whole new world of favorites. If people had done that, you would not have Henry Cavill and Gal Godot to enjoy.

Captain America Brave new world. Chris Evans was retired as Captain America...he did not "retire." Disney probably cut him because he was too expensive. Sam should never have replaced Cap......Bucky would have been a better choice since he ALSO was part of the same Super Soldier program as Cap. Thunderbolts Looks like the Black Widow movie was created just to create three more MCU characters, and be rid of Scarlett Johansson (who probably was too expensive). At least Bucky is still in it.....and Yelena is talented. Although David Harbour is quite talented, it irks me that his character is a joke. The rest of team are little known or unknown. I guess they are trying something new. Superman Could be great. Could suck. I will probably go see it. Blade Hard to beat Wesley Snipes in this role.....he made Blade real.

Ford should hang it up. He is old real old and no longer in demand. In Hollywood today in America we are in transition from movies dominated by white characters to movies dominated by black characters. They have dressed up all the white versions with black versions but the behavior of the characters on the screen is essentially the same. Make believe stuff designed to attract viewers. Do a crossword puzzle, I’ll bet you do better on movie and TV puzzles than on regular word puzzles. We are dominated by make believe useless information that would not get you anywhere in a survival situation. How to purify water or grow crops or hunt down food has given way to useless Hollywood trivia. Comic books were mostly about the art work for many and that is missing in the Superhero movies so it’s back to the stereo typical movie characters and themes. A real waste of time.
