He is good in training the dog, explaining the process (quite informative), very thorough, takes pride & enjoy in what he's doing & most of all he e really cares for the dogs. Good job

He's so well-spoken and analytical, so thoughtful. It seems to me that this guy should be handle any number of jobs, managerial even, when he gets out! If someone gives him the chance, that is. And if he stays on the straight and narrow... Though in another video they said that the recidivism rate for guys in their dog program is *6%*, as opposed to the other inmates' *70%.* That is just astonishing. But I can believe it! After having watched a number of these videos and seen how motivated they are, responsible, a sheriff said that they become "softer" (the inmates would prefer 'reconnected with their humanity':-)). It's _of course_ mostly about the dogs. But just for them to live in this unit as well, with the friendly atmosphere, where everyone talks to everyone, with no race barriers. Unlike in the rest of the prison, with the posturing and threat of violence, different racial groups pitted against each other, gangs, hostility.

If this man is let out of prison, I hope someone rich sets him up in his own dog training business and the requirement for his employees is that they are felons who cannot get jobs elsewhere.

I am lobbying for this program in Massachusetts, as a whole, but especially my local jail and a prison 20 miles away. Obviously it works to help people and dogs. Some of them become service dogs, which many people wait for!
