Like, I just went to a Mets game where our runner had to challenge the opposing catcher at home plate and made a brutal collision that took the catcher out. But that catcher not only made the out, the crowd applauded for him getting to walk off the field with little issues. Even if it's beneficial to your team, you don't want opposing players getting hurt to be the reason they leave.
