Brother Odissi is the oldest classical dance form of India. They are equally preserving the tradition even after suppression by muslim nawabs from Hyderabad, Murshidaabad, Delhi lastly by the East India Company. Kalinga & Kanchi are now Odisha & Tamilnadu who were traditionally rivals & competitors in spreading indian culture in South East Asia specially Srilanka, Java, Sumatra, Borneo, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia etc. Please refer Google.

'Sankarabaranam' an excellant movie made in Telugu that highlights the greatness of Karnatak music and Bharathnatyam. The movie is a masterpiece filled with excellant songs by SPB and dance movements by Manju Bhargavi.
