I’m sorry Ma’am , but As I’ve been to all the places you titled this video and more… may I politely correct you that the initial scenes shown is in Wengen and not of the places you’ve mentioned. And the hotel with the black cow imprinted white flag was where we stayed during our Alpine journey all the way to the highest peak of the Jungfrau of the Swiss Alps in 2018. We’ve been to these places in this video…& agree of nature’ beauty… awesome! Did you ever happen to visit the magnificent & famous Trummbelbach Falls in Lauterbrennen?

I was in Mürren and Lauterbrunnen 2 weeks ago and hiked from Grütschalp to Mürren. I didn't know that Gimmelwald is so beautiful. If I still get the chance, I'll go back and visit Gimmelwald, Schynige Platte, Isenfluh and Grindelwald. Lauterbrunnen is a beautiful valley with waterfalls.

In the summer of 1988 I visited Gimmelwald and stayed overnight at the youth hostel 7:27. If they still have the log book, I signed my name. A scenic little town (emphasis on little) surround by beauty in every direction. However, there's almost nothing to do in town other than take pictures, hike (very steep hikes) and experience the moment. Bring food, a camera, hiking shoes and warm clothes. The town really is very sparse. When I visited, showers at the youth hostel were outside and coins needed to be deposited to get water. Hopefully they fixed the water heater (if one was even installed). The shower water felt like it came straight from an ice cold mountain stream. Not an exaggeration. The hostel was also very dark inside and had almost no furnishing. The bright side is that the hostel is situation on the edge of a steep drop off with a breathtaking view of the valley below. Definitely worth a 1 day visit, only 1 day, not 2.

Breathtaking indeed. However, as much as beautiful it may look, the reality is it is a very harsh life there during the winter. To some degree, during summer as well. Anyone who is an outsider will have a hell of life adjusting the local lifestyle for too long. Watching fancy mountains all day long has some limitations!!
