It’s funny how some musicians think either that their band is a democracy, or mistakenly that it’s their band. Guys get canned all the time, and it’s usually a personality issue. Felder needs to get past this. It was literally decades ago. He’s popping up every few months to air his grievances. Just stop.

Don Felder didn’t “give” them Hotel California. He wrote the lick, but the rest was a band effort. Get the facts right.

He wrote the main riff and created most of the bass and guitar parts and the solo with Joe Walsh. Glenn Frey and Don Henley wrote the lyrics. He still gave the band its biggest song.
