I’m in the USA and looking at a similar boot (Apate II Mid) what’s the sizing like? I wear a mens US 10 size but they only offer in 9.5 and 10.5. I’m thinking of sizing down to the 9.5 as most boot brands tend to run big, but I don’t have experience with Strauss. Any advice on your experience with fitment? Do they tend to run big, small, or true to size?

Are the soles solid or flexible? Looking for a boot suitable for ligament injury, too solid it causes pain as there's not enough movement

Had mine for the year and the boa mechanism that's held by a torque screw had snapped off by the plastic and deeming them unrepairable unless stitching was removed and etc. I've bought another set and the reason why is that they are the most comfortable and and hard wearing work shoes I've had. I usually go through a 50 quid pair in like a couple months but these went through alot of abuse and I was quite surprised they lasted a year and to be fair it was the lace mechanism that failed and not the shoe.

After a while you need to swap out the stock insoles. For a decent gel one.

eBay. They cost 140£. I have them for more than a year and very satisfied. Waterproof, windproof and antistatic. Can't go wrong with them.
