thanks for the video! - suggestion for next videos: I actually need to learn more vocabulary, i always use the same words, when telling a story 😅 but maybe there is a video like this already on the channel ? Cheers from Brazil.

Hi, can you explain usage and give examples of "puke" and "vomit" verbs. Your explanation is the best👍

Oh, yeah! I love these. Sometimes, I feel like I'm overusing them, though. xD

What if I want to emphasize the past tense? For example, "I did catch the ball", or should I use both verbs in the past tense, like "I did caught the ball"?
@papateachme2 ай бұрын
Exactly that!! “I DID catch the ball!”

@@NS-neversayneverit's simple. When we make the negative sentence, we would say that, i didn't 'catch'. Right. I "didn't caught" is wrong. Same rule for the positive sentence.

Nice video. You probably should've mentioned "It isn't" vs "It's not" as well though.

How about a video on how to correctly pronounce sounds like uhm, uh, ... without sounding like a foreigner.

Interesting idea!! What would you like to see in that video?

@papateachme Don't know, just off the top... While speaking I often realise I sound too Italian between words. A somewhat overlooked matter is how to get rid of inconsistent sounds.
@pallavarora74672 ай бұрын
@@pierfrancescopeperoni Italian accent is not a problem as long as you convey your message correctly. Best to focus on the grammar and pronunciation rather than Accent

Our Mother Language has completely been taken over by English... I still remember 90s era when Indian English was different from British/American English. Indians used to read/write/think in Their mother tongues but after 2000 every thing is changed..even the culture is heavily influenced. This perhaps is not good, uniqueness of the Orient is slowly getting lost.
