such a mess with willow, so much for hands-free pump. I regret buying willow. With Medela I could get 8-10 oz every session without any leaks and aftermath to deal with, touching the milk with bare hands and what not....

I can’t get it out of stimulant it made my supply from 4 oz to 1/2 oz this was a waste of money and the company won’t replace .

I cannot seem to get much milk out using this pump, please help!! I have used your recommendations and also spoke with customer support to make these pumps work better for me but I still have only managed to get out a total of 3oz. from both breasts. I will then switch to my medela pump for the next session and will get out a full 6oz. I'm worried if I just use the willow it will effect my supply. I'm an experienced pumper and successfully pumped for a full year while working full time with my first child. I'm worried the willow will have to be strictly a travel pump which makes the cost not worth it in the end.

I wanted to repost that I kept working on it and I’m so glad i did! I’m getting a lot more milk now. I’m not sure the exact reason. They came out with a new sizing tool that you print out and cut holes out of that I used to determine the right size that’s a lot easier to use than the coins and I went down to the 24 mm ( I was going back and forth before trying to figure out which size) and even ordered the 21 mm container. I also did the video coaching call and got a lot more tips. One notable one, I think, was when aligning it I lean forward and look in the mirror and make sure I’m holding it perpendicular to the direction my nipple is pointing. I thinking the biggest help may be that I started pumping on one side while my baby nurses on the other which wouldn’t stimulate a let down and get me out of stimulation mode sooner. And now I get more even when I don’t do that.

Thanks for sharing! I finally mastered emptying the bag with my finger! My current issue with the willow 2.0 is literally pumping milk lol I pump hardly anything in the willow then follow with my Medela and pump 4 oz. Do you have any advice or tips on getting better output with the willow?

Hi there, thanks for the informational videos! We have been using the re-usable containers for about a month or so and now they both have stopped working (blinking orange light). One of them stopped working a week after the other, I checked alignment and the flange and other components about 10 times it make sure everything is in place and I just can’t seem to figure it out! We are now using the re-usable bags (with your tips about re-using) although since we are in Canada willow doesn’t ship to us! It’s only a matter of time till we run out :( Has anyone run into the same issue? Willow recommends changing the re-usable containers every 3 months or so but doesn’t seem like they could wear so fast. Visually everything seems intact, we are using the same flange so that is not the issue! Thank you for your help

I don't own the Willow but I'm intrigued to understand how it works. Unlike Elvie (or other tradisinal pump), which pretty much straightforward, where the milk goes through the flange, valve, and end inside a bottle. Whereas the Willow, I still couldn't understands it?? The opening of the plastic is at the top, so does it mean the milk travel upwards?? (am I making sense lol)

Hello!!! So I have watched a bunch of your videos and I ended up going with the Elvie pump. Primarily because I didn’t want to deal with the bags and I have sensitive nipples so I didn’t want it to be a super strong suction. Well the Elvie constantly just loses suction, you have to wipe the flange and seal through out pump session, you have to let the pump rest for a while to even gain some suction back, and if you even bend slightly the sensor gets breast milk on it. Those are just some of the issues. Their customer service is great and they have replaced the hubs for me but then I just had issues with the new ones. What was your experience after using the elvie for a bit? Should I just buy the Willow? Have you had any suction issues after having it for a while?

I primarily use the willow because the Elvie unfortunately just didn’t work for me . In regards to the bags, you can use the hack that I shared in one of my videos . If you do end up going with the willow , feel free to check through my links in the description box of my willow videos where I share some coupons that they have .

I bought a willow 2.0 and every time I pump my nipples are so sore after. It is uncomfortable after each pump and stays uncomfortable for a few hours later where I cannot nurse because my nipple a hurt. Any suggestions?

Hi Mommy Shark, A lady in my neighbor want to sell me her lightly used willow 1.0 in original box and everything. she is also including about 80 bags and a carrier for travel for $300. what do you think? should i take it for $250-300, or cough up more money for the willow 2? Willow 2.0 is not worth the extra money if you re talking about more than 100 dollar difference in my opinion . Also 80 bags alone is worth a lot

Mommy Shark Can you help me? I purchased the Willow pump after watching your videos and subscribing to your channel. I have a 12 month old and a 1 month old and my 1 month has a sensitivity to soy and dairy formula so he only tolerates breastmilk. I'm able to get up to 7oz between both my breasts in 1 pumping session with my Medela but with the Willow I struggle to get 2 oz or 4 oz tops. My latch is good and I vary between my pumps like you suggest in other videos, what can I do?

I would really make sure the latch is correct . If that doesn’t work , maybe the suction patterns do not work for you .. have you tried increasing the suction or decreasing it ? Also have you tried stopping and attempting to re latch the pump ?

I just got the container and since there’s an air vent you don’t have to worry about air building up and it’s a solid structure so it doesn’t expand. It adds the possibility of leaking if you lean too far forward but I haven’t had any issues with that.

I can get up to 5oz both breast in 10’ with my Medela but with Willow I get 0.3oz each breast for 25 minutes. I have so many problems with assembly it too. Such a waste of money and time
