The digital Scanners are complicated to program. I bought a Whistler TRX-1, it decodes DMR, NXDN etc but was a nightmare compared to analogue scanners. I sold it after a few months, turned out there wasn’t much to listen to on digital after all. Some interesting topics there. 73

Thanks but I sold it some time ago. I don’t generally listen to Hams on Scanners even though I’m a licensed operator myself, I like finding random traffic and trying to ID stuff. Low VHF has been good recently with sporadic E, USA fire dispatch coming into the U.K. on 33mhz really clear a few weeks ago. Keep up the good work with the videos 👍🏼

49:1 is unun = unbalanced to unbalanced balun = balanced to unbalanced ie dipole to coax
