Yesterday, I found out that a customer of mine owing me a lot of money has relocated to Canada from Ghana. People like these who are lying for visas are the reason why trust is lost, especially on the lips of most Africans. I have applied twice for a US visa. Both applications were for genuine reasons. My friend invited me for his graduation and wedding. When they refused me, especially for my lack of funds and experience with international travel, I politely said, "Thank you." When I travelled to Europe for two months, I returned immediately after the reason why I went was done. I had over 20 days more on my visa. My business here in Ghana had missed me so much. I will never lie just to get a visa. I am building my country Ghana.

I have been working with some Indian "students" in the UK. One was studying business, had no clue where Germany was and had never walked to uni. He clearly stated he is here to work, and a student visa allows him to be here. He failed his studies but got another visa. And like that goes and goes, many people I met. No wonder UK universities are failing today and cannot get real students.

the govt is aware of such cases but they use their fees to keep the costs low for local students. one scam for another lol.
@MisterArgos
@MisterArgos 3 ай бұрын
@@Funky.Sabbath they cannot use those fees as they come here not to study, but work. Imagine a guy who is allowed to work 30 hours while studying, he is 90% working in hospitality. He is earning lets say 25 000 per year minus taxes. Then vost of living. How much a year in uni costs now? I think 20k. That means he is taking a students loan which he will never repay.

I thought the guy interviewing the 19yo student was unfair. He asked about the "course of study" but I think the kid thought he said "cost" (because of his accent I thought he said cost!). The interviewer did ask the question differently but he always used the word "course". If he had asked "what will you be studying" or "what subject will you study" the student may have given a different answer.

I just think it's a bit sad that many people will have a hard time entering the country now because the officers will have preconceived ideas about them based on their country of origin AND before anyone says anything, I've gone down an immigrations rabbit hole and have seen that it's usually the same few countries in the videos almost every time but they, for the most part, seem desperate and really eager to be allowed in the country. I am certainly in no way advocating for forged documents but I think we should start looking at what drove some to make the decision yk?
