I believe they mostly are stupid to realize what trump presidence actually mean. And they already forgot about 4 years ago. And many trump voters also are simple minded people. They don't realize that things that don't happen to them, still can indirectly strongly came to fuck them in the ass. And many trump voters listen to trump talking and they believe he wants to change the country. They don't trust the government. They want the candidate who will break everything. And there is also the fact that internet is inondated with right wing propaganda on every possible social. And the actual biggest reason for kamala defeat: she HAS no sauce. She doesn't want to change anything, she wants to be exactly like biden, she doesn't talk about the root of problems, like billionares buying everything, and fucking everyone else. In fact the election was decided by 15 million voters who decided to not vote for kamala while they voted for biden. Trump didn't gain votes. He actually lost a few millions. But kamala performed so fucking bad, that trump won by a landslide. And it's not really a kamala loss. It's a loss of the democratic party. As Bernie Sanders said "a party who left working people behind, cannot be surprised when those people leave the party behind" I do really believe this result was inevitable, unless biden choose an indipendent with strong populist messaging, but with left wing idiology, or if Bernie Sanders won in 2016 or 2020, leaving trump in the history book

Understanding that this election has a great many negative implications for you within the US, from our perspective (in UK and Europe) we're having to get to grips with the idea that the US may no longer be the ally we could depend upon for over 100 years. The 1st Trump term was difficult enough, and made most of us in the UK & Europe nervous about the strength of our relationship. Today I've seen an awful lot of comments, even on conservative media, that it's time for UK & Europe to distance ourselves from the US. The political establishment won't do this willingly, of course. Increasing our own security and relying less on NATO will be extremely expensive while many of our countries have their own far-right populists waiting to exploit any political discontent. We may simply be forced to by Trump & his government going down a path that we can't (at least I hope) follow.

@@kirstymiller9332 they are referring to Obama jumping in in 2020 to convince the others in the primary to drop out and coalesce behind biden at a time where Sanders had momentum (the sabatoge from the DNC). Biden had to step down and the only viable predecessor was kamala who was polled poorly in that same 2020 election. I hope the US citizens experience how it feels to be under dictatorship or someone is close to become a dictator for the first in their history. hope they learn how we felt, the people of Bangladesh for the last 15 years, while US, India supported Sheikh Hasina.

I can't agree with Mr. Ornstein. The corporate centrist Democrats and their long-term hearing problems absolutely play a huge role in this loss, if not the largest. But I'm uncomfortable in victim mode: What does civil disobedience look like these days, for starters?

He's 80 years old, chances are he won't make it to inauguration day. And with the way most of this country feels about him, he might not make it much past that either. Just because 70 million people voted for him doesn't mean that 230 million don't despise him because we do

I am centre left but really think that the people that voted for Trump are NOT stupid. Stop calling them uneducated. They went for a message that resonated with them. Kamala wasn’t able to sell her vision to those voters simple.
