Can you pronounce these Polish words? I think these might be some of the most difficult Polish words and short sentences. Try to say: Chrząszcz or Szczebrzeszyn or Wyrewolwerowany Rewolwerowiec or Żółć. Good luck!

I’m a native English/Spanish speaker and learning Polish and German somewhat simultaneously for when we travel to Europe. The pronunciation is fairly straightforward in Polish as it’s a phonetic language like Spanish but German is so close to English pronunciation. But both languages have some very difficult words to wrap your head around. Dziękuje bardzo za wideo. Oglądanie było bardzo zabawne.

You forgot that "żółć" also means "yellowness" :D And szczęście has two meanings too: happiness or luck, depending on a context ("Mam szczęście" = "I'm lucky"). Sorry for being such a s-marta-ss and giving you lectures all the time instead of just saying it's a good video xD Because it is! ..."ździwił" though?

Bile is pronounced B as in Book, I as in Eye and ul as in Look or fueL or another way of thinking it, remove N from River Nile and replace with B :) Your rant at 1:47 made me laugh so much, I didn't read the translation, I listened to the words you spoke and several stood out that made me aware of your anger and swearing LOL I am a massive fan of these helpful lessons as they helped me impress a Polish cleaner at work (not for vanity but respect for them not having very good English and I wanted to show them we have trouble with languages too lol) I simply learned jak sie masz and his face lit up and he seemed much more happy and comfortable talking to me after. Now he greets me every time he sees me and I think I made a friend :D Of course I was so afraid I would fluff it up but I must have got something right :/ :D So thank you, or should I say, Dziekuje (sorry my keyboard does not have the accent letters)

My biggest advice is something like that: Talk, talk, talk, the more you talk, the faster you learn. No matter if you started today and you can't say a proper sentence. Just try and you will see how fast you will learn. Most of my English I've learned that way. I've never used any book. My English isn't perfect and I make tons of mistakes but you can still understand me :)

Cyrillic alphabet was specially designed for slavic languages and has more letters that can reflect specific polish sounds. Because latin alphabet has no such letters Poles have to use these ridiculous combinations or modify some letters like ź, ć, sz, cz. Example: Brzeczyszczykiewicz -> Бжечышчикевич. B -> Б rz -> ж e -> e cz -> ч y -> ы (this is a single letter) sz -> ш cz -> ч y -> ы kie -> кье or ке w -> в i -> и cz -> ч As you can see cyrillic alphabet has separate letters for special sounds in Polish. Polish language IMHO should use cyrillyc instead of latin alphabet.

How is beetle (Chrzascz) pronounced? Can one spell the pronunciation as if you were saying it in English? I can't understand what he's actually saying with the phonetics....

I'm sure someone has already corrected you but "bile" is pronounced with more of a Y sound. Bye-ul. Anyways love your videos.

"Bile" is not a word we would say all the time. Its a medical word. Its pronounced like _mile_ (as in miles per hour)

Желч, bile, is produced by liver, not pancreas. Among all Slavic languages, IMHO, Serbian is the most melodic, with Russian and Polish being the hardest to pronounce.
