Nice list! Deb liked the KC Bourye sample enough to buy it. Cheap enough to not be disappointed. We haven't cracked ours yet. Most people don't like it. Pact 9 was so disappointing, and I don't need another. C924 seems to be all over the place on the reviews. You can ship the remainder of the President's Choice to me :)

Agree with most of your list. I liked KC Bourye and Jefferson Tropics much more than you. But having said that I won’t buy a backup Appreciate the review

Agree on all except the ECBP, but that’s a profile I love. I suspect C924 will open up nicely like A124 did. And the B batch was a banger this year - dark and spicy. None of them were close to C923, but where else are getting 11 year old BP goodness for $75??

The whole ECBP lineup stunk this year. Larceny bp were much better. Luckily the local store pick elijah craig was fantastic and had a 10+yr age statement and they sell it at 69.99 which is 10 bucks cheaper than the barrel proof offerings.

I'm a fan of KC but they certainly missed with this blend. I'll still drink what I have but honestly I would have gone the other way on this blend. I could see a 60/40 bourbon- rye but its just off with the higher rye in this bottle. Same with the Bakers not sure what they were trying to do but they missed it.

I think it’s so hard to explain hype/ excitement to people that dont like whiskey so much. For me this year I got sold on a really average store pick Yellowstone. It’s so generic and boring for $60. Also I know some might hate me for this but I got a Blantons for under 80. I think it’s super boring as well. Getting disappointed by price is different than having bad juice, still a lot of finished stuff tends to be a higher price with a higher margin of error. Pretty much every finished whiskey I have I debate if it’s worth the price and how much I like it.
