In my school it was required to plastizice all our school books which is one of the worst, most boring and time consuming things you can ever do. So our day before school that's what we used to do. As you can imagine, we use to LOVE that "tradition" every year and were thrilled to go back to school.

Hey, mama, kids make messes 24/7/365...even when asleep, I swear! I tried the no eat in the car thing...they were the hungriest when I told them they couldn’t eat in the car. I bought the small little whisk CORN broom with a small dustpan to keep in the car and that helped a LOT! I bombed many a parking lot with mega crumbs, LOL! Hey, I made the birds SO HAPPY!

still catching up here so this is coming very late. Maybe you can use it for future reference...LOL I keep a sour dough starter on my cupboard. I add unbleached organic flour and water to it daily. Making pancakes and waffles is a cinch. We have fresh almost daily and it is so good for you too. When my starter gets really big, I make a bunch of bread or a ton of waffles/pancakes and freeze them. We do chocolate, hawaiian etc

Yes, car detailing is worth it. Also, I made my kids pick their crap up every time we got out. If they spilled chips etc, they had to clean it. (I had a small car vacuum that plugged in a port) Great video, Kim! P.S. Yes, please show all your thrift hauls, I LOVE them!!!

My daughter doesn’t go back till the 5th so we’re still in summer mode ha. She wears uniforms so no super cute clothes or anything. I buy her jeggings also! But to school she mostly wears dresses and jumpers. And they’re allowed to wear leggings under them as long as they’re certain colors and solid. Only things I need to buy are school shoes and a new backpack. Because she wears uniforms. She has after school/play/weekend clothes that she changes into right after she gets home. Uniforms are expensive lol. And btw your laundry room looks great!

You should order a couple of those behind the seat garbage bins and just put a shopping bag inside (or just tie a plastic bag in the head rest) so the girls have somewhere to put their trash. I try to clean my car bi weekly but in the winter it's like once a month because it rains constantly and its freezing to clean outside 😂 I love these videos. Motivates me and keeps me company while I clean lol also I've only gotten my car detailed once....waste of money! I do the same exact job for free and I paid about 200! Ridiculous!!!! Not worth it in my opinion unless something happens like vomit or something lol!

I got the cigarette lighter diffuser for my car but with the Florida weather it dried up the center part and stopped working. I wouldn't recommend it for Florida weather. I would only recommend it if you plan on taking it out of your car every time

I just got a new car a few weeks ago, well, new to me!! lol Anyway, I dared my boys to take one morsel of food in there. So, of course, being the wonderful mother I am, I let them eat peanuts the other night. PEANUTS!! The kind in the shell. Needless to say, my car is a mess and I've had no time to actually go out and clean it. Mom fail to the max!!!!!! It's crazy how kids grow. My oldest son is 14 and a couple summers ago he shot up like a rocket and now he towers over me. He loves it. lol He's almost 6ft tall and the Dr. said he still has a lot of growing to do. I watched The Bachelorette and it made me cry!! I never cry over that show. But seriously.... Blake...... Ugh. I love Eden's Garden Essential oils. The Cleaning is one of my favorites. We don’t really do special back to school things 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s always a win just to get everyone to school on time 😂 My older girls have always loved getting their new school supplies for the year, so I usually go all out and let them have a mini shopping spree where they can just throw whatever they want in the cart... they never get to do that so I guess it’s special lol I figure they’ll use it all at some point 🤷🏻‍♀️ My youngest is in Kindergarten this year so it’s bittersweet for me! We cloth diaper -- wentworth is fully potty trained now, but it's recent - so I keep it in there for when I washed his diapers, I'd throw in baking soda, vinegar, and a little detergent! :) -- also a great combo for towels too!

Every two weeks my ex husband takes the three kiddos for “daddy’s weekend”, so I make a double batch of banana 🍌 bread 🍞, let the loaves cool, slice them and freeze the slices. I will pull out the frozen slices about 1 hr to thirty minutes before serving and spread with vegan butter. 😋😋😋. Gets me through two weeks of breakfasts and uses up our extra ripe bananas.

Also, the hack for freezer nut/seed butter and jelly sandwiches 🥪 is to put the nut/seed butter on both slices of bread and then jam/jelly in the middle so the defrosting jelly doesn’t make bread soggy by lunch time.

I am so ready for school to start! I have one starting high school this year and one going into seventh grade. We don't really have anything special out-of-the-box that we do other than the normal getting school supplies and getting backpacks ready and stuffed, buying new lunchboxes and just getting geared up and ready to start waking up early and getting a move on. 😁Great job on cleaning up your car! I have a steadfast rule in my car of no eating just for that reason. 😖I learned my lesson the hard way with our last car that we had for 10 years. I let the kids eat from the time they were in car seats on up and there was so many crumbs and food and wrappers that got down into the seats and on the floor and crushed into the carpet and eventually, we had little critters and visitors. (If you know what I mean,)😉 it took a long process to get them out of the car but we did it. I will not go through that again with our new car so now it's a no eating rule unless it's a long distance trip or some exceptions, but we empty our trash right away and now because they are older it is a little bit better.😂💚🌸

I can give her my babies drawers. He is 10 months but already in 18 months and as far as his drawers full of 12 month. He is a big boy. he just went through another growth spurt and looks gigantic now.
